  1. Late inning Cardinals pixie dust forthcoming. Come on offense, gonna need more runs
  2. This likely won't turn out well. Damn Cardinals.
  3. My god, Bryant on a mission to singlehandedly break opposing pitchers
  4. Hey, Bryant w/ a solid throw that doesn't pull Rizzo's glove into the runner's path
  5. Bryant is death to pitchers, homers or not. He just chews through pitch counts
  6. Cards w/ about 900 feet of batted ball distance that inning for their 3 outs.
  7. Jeezus Starlin. That pitch was in another time zone
  8. Well....so the bottom of the 1st inning happened. Hope Martinez continues to be in a giving mood, but it's the Cardinals, so I expect him to be awesome after his offense got them back into this so quickly.
  9. Yeah, my Cardinal fan friends' smugness is understandable.
  10. One of those innings again?? Come on, someone get a big hit
  11. A split against the Cards would feel like a gift to me given how we're struggling to score runs, but if we can go 2-2, I'd feel good about things heading into Milwaukee next weekend.
  12. why? Because in a game that doesn't have as many anymore, he's supposed to be a big-time home run hitter. And to do that, you need to actually eventually hit a home run. Of course he will do it, but you want to see at least one. It's been more than 60 plate appearances and 55 at-bats. Again it's strange but there is like nothing I'm worried about less than Kris Bryant's ability to hit for power. Right, not worried at all. And I realize it's amateur to be like a kid asking a player to hit a home run for them, but I mean, he has to actually start hitting them. He hasn't hit a ball hard in a while. With better weather he'll hit HRs, no matter which part of the field, but he's making weak contact when he actually does hit the ball right now
