Woke up 30 minutes ago and am definitely still drunk. I passed out around 3:30 am central I think. Gonna spend the morning reading everything I can find about win after my girlfriend & I get breakfast. All the sentiments expressed here & elsewhere just give me all the feels.

Haven't put much thought into it, and I know, other things more important right now, but I prefer Jansen over Chapman, even at the cost of a draft pick. Doubt LAD let him go though.

Yeah, I'd rather Soler be in the lineup too, but it's not like he'd transform it into an unstoppable juggernaut against Kershaw. One nitpick is I'd flip-flop Addison & Willson, but whateves. Cubs win 4-2, making my prediction of 5 games seem pessimistic.

He's not that non-descript. His wRC+ ranked 4th in baseball, right between Joey Votto and Josh Donaldson. Dude can rake. He's got great bat-to-ball skills and power to go with it, even if his plate discipline is lackluster. And his fielding kinda sucks. Vintage Aramis Ramirez at 2B for a comp? he's saying he used to be a non-descript player Yeah, he was what?, a lifetime .420 SLG contact guy, but then has turned into a .580-.600 SLG behemoth. -

Wow. Cubs-related internet is a morass of suck. Bleacher nation especially should be burned down. I just opened the comments section there for the first time in a month. The only positive about the Cubs negativity is that the racist Trump supporters there aren't posting their political drivel.
