  1. Busch seems so locked in right now. Going to get another heavy dose of RHPs, as I expect every starter we see will be righty. Koenig and Ashby are good LHPs, they're a step down from Morejon but there's two of them. Need Happ to get it together and this lineup has some real length to it.
  2. Happy for our sake this isn’t the case, but I’m a big fan of starting the divisional series the next day after the wild card. You want the best teams to advance and win, make it as hard as possible on the teams without the bye.
  3. Happ bunting and it not leading to a run is officially hilarious
  4. That’s the type of inning from Keller that precludes an injury announcement
  5. I don’t really love Keller here after how he looked, but might as well ride with the horse that got you here
  6. Yeah don’t know if Keller finishes but this is the spot for him
  7. I will hopefully find it really funny in like 20 minutes that this also didn’t work out
  8. I’m starting to doubt the availability of morejon and miller
  9. Every fly ball has been terrifying after arraez hit one off the end of the bat to the wall
  10. Where’s the guy who’s biggest memory of Dansby Swanson is some September error
  11. Going to be a lot to lament here if this takes a turn for the worse.
  12. Remember, when you analyze this decision, in the hypothetical other world Jameson taillon strikes out everyone on three pitches while throwing 105
  13. We have three lefties in the pen and have essentially 5 innings left in our season. There is no reason to not maximize our matchups if they’re going to be nice enough to put three lefties back to back.
  14. This tracks as his career playoff ERA is all of 0.12 runs higher than his career regular season ERA, good call.
  15. While there's a good chance we're going to see Miller (and even Morejon, maybe), they're most likely not going to be able to get 4 innings worth of outs out of them like they did yesterday. Guessing we'll see Estrada for a couple, but he's a step below those two. Either way, the first couple innings are going to be big, both in terms of facing bad pitchers and also just to get a little bit of pressure off.
