    When Walker hit that GS yesterday the stadium felt the same way as when James Loney did in the playoffs. Need to get this one today. I am leaving for Augusta tomorrow morning and have my season tickets if anyone wants them. Section 411 Row 5....$40 for the pair?? I will be close to the stadium all day today.

    It was refreshing to hear; I was thinking it was the most outspoken I've ever heard Hendry. However, you really have to wonder how big of a vagina Hendry actually was with Silva and letting him in on this info. I know the Cubs don't owe Silva anything other than his $$, but Hendry's comments really lead me to believe Silva had no chance from the start. Silva's an idiot and I'm happy, but I'd probably be a little pissed if I were him as well.

    Don't know if this belongs here, but in a Tribune article about Hendry by David Haugh there is this line: "He(ndry) also dropped hints that a couple of Double-A pitchers, Trey McNutt and Alberto Cabrera, might be ready by mid-summer." Whatever, "might" is nothing earth shattering, but I'm bored.

    He is, but Hendry probably wants to save his own ass and have Silva start the year as the #5 starter and Hendry will probably win out. Hopefully they are smart enough together to have Cashner start at AAA instead of wasting him as the 6th inning guy in Chicago. Haven't they already said if Cashner doensn't make the rotation he's going to the bulpen? I don't see any scenario where he's sent down. That's certainly what they've led us to assume. I think they are worried about the bullpen after M,W,M (lazy)

    I dunno if a guy that has a ton of trouble finding the strikezone is the guy you want out there in a high-leverage one-out situation. He's walked 1 in 10 lefties in his career. He has walked 1 in 7 righties. You gotta get off this Oliver Perez for LOOGY idea, especially for the Cubs

    It just sucks seeing Hill come up in the 10th inning with runners on base when he's the only person left to use. I understand this happens all of about 4-5 times a year, but still annoying.
