    gods be good that will continue I'm pretty sure he's joking considering the Tigers have now been to 2 WS, the Pistons won an NBA title and the Red Wings have won 2 Stanley Cups.

    Is that seriously a thing? Yup, and it's very, very sad. He's actually not a terrible pitcher but the Cards smash LHP and when I say he's not that terrible I also mean he's not that great. Only game vs STL this year (and ever): 2.1 IP, 4 H, 7 R/3ER, HR, 5 BB, 3 K.

    I think he will pitch extremely well also. Just trust the Reds bats a bit more. 2-1, 3-2 type game.

    I think we see every series conclude today: Reds vs. Cardinals Latos has been nasty in the 2nd half of 2012 and has owned this Giants this year. Cardinals have the Nats dead in the water, almost like big vs. little brother. And the Nats are sending....Ross Detwiler to the mound. Yankees vs. Tigers Yankees should pound Joe Saunders. Tigers/A's is toughest to call for me, the Tigers are really gonna ned Verlander to be shutdown IMO but I think they win a close, low scoring one.

    It's baseball. There's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with it if it weren't a game 5. But why isn't STL/Nats the first game? Makes no sense. It makes plenty of sense. It's a day game, what difference is noon or 3? Throughout MLB history fans who wanted to watch or listen to a game have made an effort to watch or listen to a game. You can't play them all at perfectly ideal times. Every single person on here would be bitching if the Cubs were in the playoffs and played at noon.

    Take out Carlos Villanueva's September and he had a really nice season. I'm guessing the workload caught up to him eventually, but wouldn't mind seeing him in the NL Central giving us 165 innings next year.

    I will be hitting up this game in the bleachers, tix are cheap through the right channels. Even $20 through Cubs.com. Feel free to join my drunken ass in the LF bleachers, I'm about to catch myself a BP HR tomorrow. Last night game of the year, anyone, anyone??? I also have my 2 regular season tickets for FREE if anyone in the area wants them. Just PM me or respond here and you can come grab them. Or else I'm gonna sell them to a random huge Cubs fan for $100 each, this game is pretty in demand.

    Total trap game....DO NOT bet on the Bears this week. This was the week, opportunity for value gone. Gonna be like -8.5 I'm thinking....they squeak one out. 23-17 Bears.
