I wouldnt be surprised to see this guy take over for Jock Strap by end of season if he keeps it up. That would mean he obviously played well enough to earn it based on Dusty's past use of young players so if Pagan does pass Jones by the end of the year I would be ecstatic. Dusty was quoted as saying he is really excited by the youth of his squad. However, I agree with you. Let's not get too high on Pagan here. It's only 1 game. I know that Pagan will have his bad stretches, but my point was if he does end up starting over Jones towards the end of the season that it will have been an impressive rookie year.

Another nice judgement by Dunn on the flyball. Way to be smart and play it off the wall. ESPN should run a "Not Top 10" segment featuring solely Adam Dunn's fielding.

Pagan is 2-3. I like it. I still maintain that the young guys like Murton and Cedeno are the keys to the team. Nice bunt by Slappy.

why is that important? seriously. does he have some sort of streak going? I'm assuming that is sarcasm. no. i was serious. why rollins? He ended last season on a 36 game hitting streak I think is the longest hitting streak since Paul Molitor hit in 39 straight.

Also thank goodness Rusch is throwing the day after. CG. Book it. Either that or Rusch will get ripped. BTW sethuel, I have another Joe Morgan quote for you from last night's White Sox-Indians game. He said that left handed hitters hate pitches that are low and inside and generally do not hit them well.

That 1-2 fastball was most definately a strike. And the umpire made up for it on the 2-2. Nice pitches by Eyre limit the damage.

Everytime I see a manager go out to the mound to just talk to the pitcher and not bring in a new one, I just think back to 2003 when Grady Little left Pedro Martinez in against the Yankees in Game 7.
