  1. Nice hit Todd. Keep up the hit parade ARam.
  2. When is Dusty going to put Womack in the leadoff spot?
  3. "Get away from me. I'm fine. I SAID I'M FINE." - Greg Maddux
  4. I completely agree with you. When talking about Bonds, people always talk about how he stands close to the plate and can reach the outside pitch easier. But the reason he can do that is because he wears that armor and doesn't have to worry about getting hit in the arm so he can crowd the plate. Didn't Biggio used to have a huge one too? I believe so.
  5. next time you aim right for him head Gotta love Russ Springer

  7. Even if Ronny makes a good throw, Edmonds probably still scores.
  8. Come on Maddux, get that double play ball here.
  9. And provided that they either score more or Maddux pitches well. Long-term, if they approach every at bat like that for the rest of the year, they'll turn this around. Agreed.
  10. And provided that they either score more or Maddux pitches well.
  11. At least we got one, bujt we should have scored more.
  12. Way to swing at ball 3 Jacque. At least you didn't ground into a DP. Come on Murton.
  13. Just had to correct you Southpaw19, but you are 23rd out of 57 not 13th.
  14. Three walks in the first inning. Come on ARAM.
  15. Wow. Bob Brenly is a genius. "It's no coincidence that the Cubs have put together better at bats when they take pitches and give the pitcher more opportunities to make a mistake." Hear that Dusty?
  16. Two walks and in the first inning no less. What team is this and where are the real Cubs?
  17. And in the short term, I think the location is better than the velocity.
  18. With Miller unlikely to pitch this season, AHNOPE. Since when has Miller been unlikely to be back this season? Last I heard a mid-June return is expected. From Rotoworld today: That still doesn't rule him out pitching this year.
  19. After not being able to watch on Friday and Saturday, I actually get to watch this game which means the Cubs are going to lose. I'll apologize in advance.
  20. I would prefer to see Marshall go down to AAA than to pitch out of the bullpen simply so he continues to pitch every fifth day. Obviously I want Marshall to stay at the Major League level but if the only two options are starting at AAA or the Cubs bullpen, I pick AAA.
  21. I hope for an injury to Barry Bonds every day and have been for years. Although this year I don't really need a serious injury because any little injury could end his career.
