    Lastings Milliage just hit a home run in the bottom of the 10th off Armando Benitez to tie the game 6-6. EDIT: with 2 outs as well.

    Does anybody know if the Cards or the city are planning on doing anything about the area past the left centerfield wall? It's just a big dirt area right now and looks fairly ugly. I'm sure they have something planned but I was curious if anybody knew exactly.

    And the wheels are coming off. There's a reason we haven't swept the Cards in St. Louis since 1988.

    Taguchi was the only one that tried to steal. Everything else was just Maddux getting hit. Correct and once Taguchi started running Maddux started throwing BP. I think Grace nailed it unfortunately. I highly doubt that Maddux lost his concentration after Taguchi stole one base. This isn't a young pitcher we're talking about here, it's Greg Freaking Maddux. Now if the Cards continued to have runners on base that were actually base stealing threats - rather than Rolen and Edmonds - then your point would be valid and I would completely agree with you. Maddux is a smart guy and knows that Edmonds is hurting and Rolen isn't that fast so they aren't going to steal.

    Taguchi got on base, stole second and took third on an error. Rolen singled him home. Edmonds doubled and Rolen scored. Encarnacion doubled and Edmonds scored. Now 6-5 Cardinals. Aardsma warming up.

    Does anyone know if anything is going to be built beyond the left centerfield wall in the near future? Because the dirt plot out there looks horrendous. I imagine they would have something planned.

    Is anyone else annoyed by the umpire making it seem like he is calling somebody out with his hand motion on every single strike or is that just me?

    Why do you swing at the first pitch there Juan? You have a guy that has had trouble throwing strikes the whole game so why not take a pitch or two?
