I definitely agree. Zambrano is likely trying to earn the love of his teammates back after acting like a complete ass and buffoon on Friday. One way to do that is to reiterate how much he likes it in Chicago and wants to be a Cub, yada, yada, yada. My guess is the same as yours. As soon as he has a different set of teammates, all that is out the window. Yup. It would be different if Z actually pitched well, got burned by a defensive miscue or two and got the loss in a 2-1 or 3-2 game. But he probably looked at his stats the next day (or later that day for that matter) and realized that he downright sucked that day and he was to blame for his crappy performance not his teammates.
