  1. And he allowed three runs on three hits - all solo shots - over 7 innings.
  2. Well, the Brewers were bound to win eventually.
  3. Well done Dempster. Cubs keep first place.
  4. I would assume Piggy. Gameday gave it to Piggy.
  5. Must be just your local affiliate... the national game is on CBS tonight (Chargers @ Rams). Or if you're in Northern California, it's the Raiders-49ers.
  6. It sounds like the game would be over if they can't get it in today. I'm not sure though because the rules don't address this situation.
  7. Nope. Under the new rules, it's now suspended. With one more strike and then a delay would it be complete - i.e. if Duncan struck out to end the top of the eighth and then there was a delay, would the game still be suspended?
  8. A delay with a 1-2 count with two outs? Christ, just let the batter finish.
  9. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h184/soccer10k/Duncan.jpg
  10. Gameday is completely frozen right now.
  11. I'm gonna have to check this thing out later tonight.
  12. No more home runs allowed please, Sean.
  13. I'm following on Gameday and listening to Pat and Ron. Gameday came up first but just said "In play, run(s)" so I had no idea what happened but was already excited because the Cubs scored. Then I heard Pat and Ron's call. Awesome.
  14. Let's go Jacque. Come up with another big hit for us. Or at least no DP.
  15. Nope. They said he was born in 1987 when Griffey started. Clemens started in 84 or 85.
  16. The UC Davis game is at noon and I'm really looking forward to the first game in the new stadium. I went on a stadium tour with the media yesterday and it looks very nice.
  17. Cy Young? I think so. Peavy is probably still ahead of him and has been the better pitcher this year. Peavy: 164.7 IP, 2.19 ERA, 175 K, 46 BB, 1.06 WHIP Webb: 184.7 IP, 2.63 ERA, 161 K, 57 BB, 1.17 WHIP And since the voters look at W-L first, Peavy is 13-5 while Webb is 13-8.
