Yep. Even when he was striking out 40% of the time (or whatever it was) in 2014, it was obvious that he was good enough defensively that if he could just be passable offensively, he'd generate enough value with the power and defense to be playable. He didn't hit great against RH (.689 OPS) but his K-rate was only 26.4% but it certainly wasn't disastrous. With how terrible he was in 2014, the progress he's made has been pretty impressive.
