  1. The whole SEC really. No 2 Kentucky lost first round No 2 Auburn lost second round No 3 Tennessee lost second round No 6 Alabama lost first round No 6 LSU lost first round No 4 Arkansas struggled to beat the 12 and 13 seeds. Big ten is right behind them. This is a Sunday massacre if Purdue can’t win. Rutgers loses in First Four Indiana gets blown out in the first round Iowa loses to a 12 seed in the first round Michigan State loses in second round Illinois loses in second round Ohio State loses in second round Wisconsin loses in second round A 17-14 Michigan team and possibly Purdue have to carry the torch for the conference True. Big 10 at least had some teams play to seed though in Indiana, MSU and OSU. Plus Illinois arguably did also and Rutgers is a First Four team. The SEC would be projected for 12 wins playing to seed and even if Arkansas wins the title they’ll only be at 8. But yeah, not a great tourney for the Big 10 either. Meanwhile the ACC got trashed all year and has been great in the tourney.

  3. I was thinking there were a good amount of upsets in this tournament, and while it's not like it's all chalk, it's not even as crazy (so far) as last year. We had a 15-seed in the -Sweet 16 last year (completely blanked on this and was thinking FGCU was the only one to do it). We had a region with a 2-8-11-12 Sweet 16 and another with a 1-5-6-7 Sweet 16. We had teams seeded 6, 11 and 12 in the Elite 8.
  4. 3 yrs, $105M with an opt out after 2. Guess he didn’t get a long term deal he liked. Surprised he couldn’t get a long term deal with an opt out after 3.
  5. This might be my worst bracket ever. Almost every upset I picked didn't happen (hit ND and Mich, that's it) and there were a handful of favorites I picked to win that lost. 18-14 in the first round. But I went 11-1 on the 1-2-3 seeds so I went 7-13 on the other games.
  6. You did? I let out a huge sigh of relief when I heard the deal on the radio. It was going to take all the joy out of watching the Saints had he signed here. That aside, the Saints are better off with Jameis and keeping their picks instead of this debacle. Uh, you know Jameis has multiple sexual assault allegations right? Let's not act like he's some model citizen.
  7. Chelsea-Real Man City-Atletico Villarreal-Bayern Benfica-Liverpool First two winners square off in one semi and the bottom two winners in the other.
  8. Murray St-San Francisco is fun.
  9. So is Rodgers getting traded? What’s the point in bringing Rodgers back if you’re going to then trade his best WR?
  10. What’s to think about? They’ll let anyone buy a team. Doesn’t matter if they’re kind of racist or murder people. All that matters is if you have the money. His (correct) point is that with such a deeply influential muslim ownership and corporate sponsor contingent in the PL, public Islamophobes will not be welcomed by the other owners and could easily hurt their bid. I stand by what I said. Could it affect their bid? I suppose a little bit. But it’s not going to be a dealbreaker. If they don’t get it, it will be because they didn’t offer enough money.
  11. Today New England beat UNAM 3-0, which means that's 3 MLS teams with 3 goals each in the first legs of their quarterfinals. I can't wait to see how they blow this. Well one did blow it and a second tried to. Third team still to play.
  12. TBF guys....he won, won for a franchise that hadn't won in over a century, and nobody gave a hoot within not even a few years, spent the half decade after hearing how actually not good he is He's there to put up some numbers and keep marching towards the HOF Yeah, Kris seems to be all about his family and digging his life, then also playing some baseball. Good for him. I’d likely do do the same, honestly. But I’m also glad the Cubs didn’t sign him long term. Oh I don’t blame him at all. Good for him getting paid. Maybe he figures he can sign the contract, play there for a year or two and then get unloaded to a team that actually wants to win.
  13. They let Saudi Arabia buy Newcastle. I’m not sure they’ll care about what old racist Ricketts said. ill let you ruminate on this one for a minute What’s to think about? They’ll let anyone buy a team. Doesn’t matter if they’re kind of racist or murder people. All that matters is if you have the money.
  14. Yep. That deal just screams “I’m taking the most money and that’s the only reason I’m going there”.

  16. Funds being frozen have hit Chelsea so hard they have to use old Borussia Dortmund kits.
  17. I enjoyed Judge’s non answer when the reporter asked if he was vaccinated. Just say no. If you don’t say yes, everyone knows the answer is no.
  18. Just enact the rule starting with the 12th or 13th inning.
  19. Has anyone watched any PSG outside of the UCL this year? Messi has 2 goals in 18 league games this year. How is that possible? I mean, I get he's on a new team in a new league but he's also got more talent around him than the last year or two at Barca and the league is weaker. Only two goals is abusrd.
  20. Mr Lunardi would like an apology.
  21. The Pirates actually had three straight WC games. They won the first one before losing 3-2 to St Louis in the NLDS. Right, they went 1-2 those WCG and thus only played in the one real series. In those 3 years they had the 3rd best record in the NL, 4th best and 2nd best and they didn’t have much to show for all the winning Definitely misread what you wrote. Thought you meant 1 playoff game (implying the 2015 game) and not 1 playoff series.

  23. My matchup would be the 5-12 seed where everyone is on the 12 seed except instead of the betting favorite losing and screwing everyone over, the betting favorite wins by 30. Also, in a weird quirk, if you combine jerseys two accounts, I’d end up with the exact same first round matchup (dew) as I did in the first tourney.
