  1. Oh, jersey.
  2. Yeah, I'm going with DeJesus, also. Went down the rabbit hole of those Cubs teams (1979-81 teams, so a little before my time) and there were a few names, I either did not know played for the Cubs or forgot. Names like Bobby Murcer, Lenny Randle, Mike Tyson, Barry Foote and Willie Hernandez. Tim Blackwell definitely had a Vitrimite style mustache.
  3. Not one deal is more than 3 years. I like.
  4. Not many Cubs wore double ear flaps. Mark Bellhorn.
  5. Tom from myspace?
  6. I see Smythe replacing Lewis, not Everett.
  7. So the Bears signed Durham Smythe, formerly of the Dolphins. Ben Johnson ties. Some whispers of the Bears being interested in Michael Mayer.
  8. If I am not badly mistaken but is Thuney and Jackson both LG? I know Jackson has played some C and Thuney has played LT but both were acquire to be guards. Does it matter who plays were or is there a preference?
  9. Tonight was a Good Knight.
  10. Same here. When Corey did not pan out, I was then on the Felix Pie (which I assume will be a future 'Name yer Cub') bandwagon. Whoops.
  11. I am going to keep my wrong answer streak alive by saying it is Jacques Jones. No doubt it is Corey.
  12. Deebo to Was for a 5th.
  13. I was today years old when I found out that there is an NBA player named Gradey Dick.
  14. I'm choosing to believe it's Matt Szczur and he is homering against Kershaw.
  15. After seeing an autographed picture of Tony Womack in a Cubs uniform that matches the photo in this thread, I am now in the Tony Womack group.
  16. For some, sure.
  17. And when Eli gets in because of name, the HOF credibility will take a hit in my eyes.
  18. Even if he is not overrated, top 5 all time is a reach. I'm not sure he's top 5 since 2000.
  19. I agreed. Rodgers is both overrated and an underachiever at the same time.
