    Randy Wells is starting for Iowa. Iowa jumps ahead 1-0 in the first thanks to a Pie triple and an EPatt sac fly. Nashville plays at 6 pm CT. Bobby Brownlie is starting for West Tenn. They're up 1-0 in the third inning.

    No, they'll female the playoffs. :lol: Hey now, I think I deserve kudos for only one typo when I did that before 8 am on a three-day weekend! Daytona won game one of their doubleheader as Mark Holliman continued the trend of pitchers finishing strong in the minors: 6.1 IP, 1 ER, 6 H, 2 BB, 3 K. Ryan Harvey went 1 for 3 with a BB and a K. Jeremy Williams hit his second HR of the season. Game 2 - Daytona's last game of the season - is about to get started.

    St. Lucie won and Palm Beach lost, so the D-Cubs are 1.5 back of Palm Beach. If the second of Daytona's games today are cancelled, I'm pretty sure they are eliminated from the playoffs.

If these scores hold up, Iowa will be 1 back with 2 games left (but Nashville still has the tiebreaker).

    UCLA up 14-10 at the half. Ben Olson has looked pretty good, but has tailed off a bit in the second half. Absolutely NO running game so far. The second TD was a on a pick-6 by true freshman Alterraun Verner. UCLA's D has looked good, struggled a bit against the option.

    Reid is already a fan favorite here in Central Alabama. Evan continues to be mess with because of his name. Evan has had trouble putting the ball in play since being call up to AA, but he has shown some outstanding power. Jeremy Owens is a decent OFer. Jeff Neiman (Newman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) or whoever you spell his last name is prolly the best overall prospect on the team. No disrespect to Longoria and Brignac. No, in terms of overall prospect, Longoria should be rated higher (especially given Neimann's injury past).

    Round Rock up big on Nashville, 7-0 in the middle of the 3rd! Iowa up 3-0 in the bottom of the 4th. Restovich and Pie with HRs and Ryu with 3 scoreless innings so far.
