    Don't the decent mocks usually include underclassmen who are good enough to compete for 1st round? So that mocks with Sam late 1st or early 2nd are already assuming these guys are in the draft? Yes, but sometimes they don't always properly rate underclassmen because a lot of NFL folks don't talk about them until they declare.

    WHY CAN'T THE COACHES CALL IN A PLAY ON TIME! You'd think they'd fix mistakes from the ND game. I hate the coaches (outside of Walker).

    Rodney Van has been burned for 3 touchdowns (everyone else on UCLA's defense has been great) on top of being burned a few times on Notre Dame's last drive last week, and yet he's still the #2 corner. Ugh! UCLA now down 20-15 as WSU fails to get the 2-pt conversion with 4:25 in the third quarter.

    I never said he was dead set, but I think he wants to go. As for talking to the Cubs, one major reason: They can't negotiate with any other team until 15 days after the World Series ends. The only team he can talk to is the Cubs. So, they can use this window to "negotiate" with the Cubs in order to leak parameters to would-be suitors. You think he wants to go based on what? Not anything he or his agent has said so please be so kind as to divulge your inside source or just admit you are guessing like everyone else. It seems pretty obvious this is his opinion. Hoops normally lets us know he's got a source if he does.

    Rodney Van has all the talent in the world and cannot play corner for the life of him. What a waste of athletic talent. I hope Verner is the #2 corner and Van goes to nickel in the second half. What garbage. UCLA up 15-14 at halftime, only because WSU has missed 2 FGs.

    UCLA up 15-14 with a minute left in the half. Nice touchdown pass to Junior Taylor on the skinny post for about 40 yards. But then they go for 2 and fail. In the first half, going for 2...why? Where was being more aggressive last week at Notre Dame? This coaching staff doesn't get it. Don't be aggressive just to be aggressive and because you were called out for being conservative by the media.

    Too bad that defense left South Bend with 90 seconds remaining last week. agreed Not the players fault they went to prevent with a 3-man rush, they were put in a bad position. Bad playcalling on both O and D lost the game.
