  1. He had a spat with the UCLA cheerleaders last year in the NC game. Florida loses 83-70 at Vanderbilt. UCLA sweeps Arizona for the second straight season, winning 81-66 at McKale. Darren Collison with a career high 15 assists, one short of Earl Watson's UCLA record. Josh Shipp tied his career high with 24 points (it's great to see him have a huge game). Arron Afflalo came up a little gimpy after stupid Mustafa Shakur clipped and took out Arron's legs going for a loose ball late in the game. Arron better be ok. :?
  2. Peoria could have a really nice team this year. I'd be pleasantly surprised if Rundle makes it up to Peoria to start the season. But there's potentially a lot of talent on that team.
  3. Well, he was third round talent that fell.
  4. It's down to Neifi or Hank White. i hate you. The feeling is mutual. :)
  5. UCLA vs. Arizona at Tempe on Saturday morning. Darren Collison (shoulder), Lorenzo Mata (hip) and Luch Richard Mbah a Moute (eye) are all expected to play.

  7. Oneri (and maybe even Hendry?) were touting him at the convention. Gooz has his curve and command back, I think he's going to have a big year this year. Hopefully it will be in the big leagues and not at Iowa.
  8. Weren't you pimping Marshall for the past couple of years? Don't worry--my boy was Brownlie. :dumb: Yes, I like Marshall but right now both Hill and the Guzman who was pitching in Venezuela this winter are ahead of him.
  9. There are 21 million reasons that Marquis is penciled in the rotation (or is it 20 million?). And Gooz is going to be in on this competition between Hill, Miller and Prior (and Marshall won't be). You just watch.
  10. Samardzija's hair isn't *that* long.
  11. Yes, he went to Stanford.
  12. Just saw Kerry for the first time this season...my goodness he's lost weight!
  13. At least the 5th starter's spot doesn't get skipped a bunch in April so that Z's arm can get more taxed.
  14. Unless he's still going on about his ten year plan. ;) Oh geez.
  15. It's down to Neifi or Hank White.
  16. What is this in reference to? That fact that I've met, hung out with and spent time with David Price and still talk to him every once in a while. He's a very humble human being. He doesn't even like the spotlight. Maybe you could get him to hint to the Royals and TB that he won't sign so he'll slide to the Cubs. ;) I think Q would try to leverage Price down to the Red Sox in that case. :P
  17. I like Griffin and love Landry. I can't see JA trading up but I think Landry would be a great fit for the Bears' D (don't know as much as Nelson but Jerry seems to like former Gators). I fully expect JA to trade down.
  18. By draft day, the Bears should know if Briggs is gone or back (though if he's franchised, you might still need an LB to replace Briggs after a year). I wouldn't pick a LB in the first round to replace HH just because HH isn't on the field as much as the other two LBs and the first rounder could be better off looking at S or OL. Don't get me wrong, I really like Posluszny and think he'd be a great fit on the offense, I just think there are bigger needs than LB if Briggs is back (same thing in regards to TE).
  19. UCLA eeks out a 67-61 win over ASU (who thankfully still has no conference victories). At one point, UCLA was down 49-39. :|
  20. And Arizona State goes on a 7-0 run to start the second half. UCLA now losing 38-36. Pathetic.
  21. UCLA up 34-31 at the half. Only four Bruins have scored: Afflalo with 15, Mata with 10, Collison with 7 and Roll with 2.
  22. UCLA tied 23-23 with ASU with 5:21 in the game. Arron Afflalo has 13 points and Lorenzo Mata has 10 points. No one else has scored for UCLA.
  23. Mata and Collison both starting in Tempe, neither are at 100%.
