  1. Jim Callis and Baseball America. Check out the minor league thread about him in Minors.
  2. He was routinely clocked at 96 and topped out at 99 at ND this past spring. He was mid-90s topping out at 96 at Boise.
  3. The blues are awful.
  4. Tigres win 4-2, box: SS R. Cedeño 0/3, 2 K (11) Navegantes won 15-1, box: 1B T. Pérez 0/3, K (6) Overall (Playoffs): Ronny Cedeño (Tigres): 15/51, .294/.339/.686/1.025, 5 BB, 11 K, 4 HR, 2 3B, 4 2B, 1/1 SB, 0 E Tomás Pérez (Navegantes): 12/49, .245/.304/.306/.610, 5 BB, 6 K, 3 2B, 0/1 SB, 1 E
  5. http://www.weather.com/outlook/health/allergies/wxdetail/60605?dayNum=2&from=weekend Weatherchannel has 0% chance of snow for Sunday during the day. Weather.com isn't the best indicator for anything more than 2 days. I'd trust NWS:
  6. College football is over early enough that it's possible he just didn't play in a whole heckuva lot of cold weather. True enough, good point.
  7. 42 is "pretty chilly" and he went to Purdue? I'd understand if that was Reggie Bush saying that, but come on...
  8. 60% chance according to NWS (most of the accumulation before noon). Expected high of 29°F.
  9. And Colbert is on the O'Reilly Factor tonight too.
  10. Epatt was on the other caravan group, I was so mad he wasn't on this one. Yeah, in Peoria.
  11. In that case, they need to have a Cubs caravan over in Pasadena with guys like Veal and EPatt.
  12. I could've sworn he fumbled earlier in the year. It was around the time he was complaining about not getting any playing time. Nope, no fumbles this season. Griese got credit for the fumble against Buffalo, but it was mostly on Benson, imo.
  13. I know we've gone over this before, but he should have been credited with a fumble in the Buffalo game, and there are a couple of other times he dropped the ball almost instantly after his knee touched down, most recently in OT last week. Last week in OT, his elbow touched the ground, knocking the ball out. I think quite a few players would fumble the ball in that situation.
  14. My biggest worry about this game is going to be the Bears OL. Against Seattle, they struggled against blitz protection even when everyone knew the blitz was coming on third downs.
  15. Another thing about Benson's YPC stats are that especially at the beginning of the season, he was rushing against 8 men in the box with the lead late, something TJ really didn't have to face.
  16. Tigres lose 7-2, box: SS R. Cedeño 1/4, 2B (4) Navegantes beat the Leones 7-4, box: 1B T. Pérez 2/4, 2B (3), IBB (5) C H. Blanco 0/2 - was pinch hit for in the 6th inning Overall (Playoffs): Ronny Cedeño (Tigres): 15/48, .313/.364/.729/1.093, 5 BB, 9 K, 4 HR, 2 3B, 4 2B, 1/1 SB, 0 E Tomás Pérez (Navegantes): 12/46, .261/.321/.326/.647, 5 BB, 5 K, 3 2B, 0/1 SB, 1 E Henry Blanco (Leones): 16/47, .340/.404/.468/.872, 2 HBP, 3 BB, 7 K, 3 2B, 1 HR
  17. Culiacan wins 3-1, box, leads best-of-seven series 3-2: 3B C. McGehee 0/2, BB (8), K (9), E (3, fielding) Playoffs: 9/39, .231/.362/.333/.695, 4 2B, 9 K, 8 BB, 3 E Regular Season: 74/247, .300/.365/.425/.790, 7 HR, 10 2B, 27 BB, 33 K, 1/3 SB, 11 E
  18. Anyone ask Donnie Veal anything else?
