  1. Oregon came from behind to beat Cal 92-84. They remain tied with UCLA for first in the Pac-10.
  2. Crazy as he is, he'd be a good Defensive End. He'd love sacking people. I could see him pointing to his head and swearing to himself after every sack. Imagine if he's held and the ref didn't call him. Roughing the QB calls...
  3. Disappointing effort for the Bulls too. Really could have used a better effort.
  4. You want Dee? Buy a plane ticket to Salt Lake City.
  5. They have a shorter passing game, though, so it might affect Grossman's deep throws more. True, they run a west coast offense type thing with lots of short passes. The Saints have a HUGE propensity to give up the big play and Rex throws a deep ball fairly well. So the wind might affect the Bears passing game more than the Saints. On the flip side, both Bush and Deuce have done worse on grass than indoors and the snow really won't help Bush. It also helps negate the Bears' team speed on defense as we might remember the Pittsburgh game last season.
  6. Embarassing. Boos for Deron Williams fouling out. And another Dee Brown chant. This is a Bulls game, not an Illini game. Go to Urbana.
  7. 48/192, .250/.300/.432/.732, 1 HBP, 17 BB, 41 K, 6 HR, 3 3B, 11 2B, 1/5 SB, 5 E
  8. Defensive end. He'd kill QBs. And his sack dance would be crazy.
  9. They have a shorter passing game, though, so it might affect Grossman's deep throws more.
  10. PJ Brown got a T for that? What about Kirilenko and Williams earlier in this game? Technical fouls in this league are ridiculous and called at such idiotic whims.
  11. Hey Bulls fans, why don't you worry about the game instead of Dee Brown playing or not?
  12. Tigres win 5-4, box: SS R. Cedeño 1/2, 2 R, 3B (3), BB (6) Leones lose 2-1, box: C H. Blanco DNP Overall (Playoffs): Ronny Cedeño (Tigres): 16/53, .302/.355/.717/1.072, 6 BB, 11 K, 4 HR, 3 3B, 4 2B, 1/1 SB, 0 E
  13. Z in cornrows!
  14. Bulls down 4 at halftime.
  15. Wow, Cal up 46-38 on Oregon at the half in Eugene. WSU destroyed the reeling Washington Huskies in Pullman, 75-47.
  16. Someone really should have asked Veal how he likes his "THE DON" nickname. He's got to like it more than "D-Train" which he has said he hates.
  17. Correct, he's no longer rookie eligible (BA's definition of a prospect). Hill, Guzman, Marmol, Marshall and Theriot all graduated last year.
  18. Did you check out the Down on the Farm segment?
  19. Psh, we don't need Klinsmann.
  20. Jeez, they hand those things out like candy these days. Meh. It's not like we have much to lose if we can't trade him. If he's good, we won't want to trade him. If he struggles, we're just paying him a couple mil/year. I've seen the Cubs waste much more money than that. It's sort of like Prior now, actually. He's not making much, and with the uncertainty, he's not worth all that much, yet some people want to get rid of him at all costs, for whatever reason. Makes no sense to me. Exactly. It seems like he wants certainty that he'll close to Valpo as one of the conditions for dropping football. If he's not good, his trade value won't be that high and another minor leaguer/young pitcher can be subbed for him. If he turns into a top prospect, he can help out and the Cub would want to keep hold of him (if they need to trade a big-name prospect for a veteran, there should be other prospects out there).
  21. IIRC, according to some reports that was the off-season where he made some adjustments and got his velo up to where he could touch 99. (I'll look it up to make sure) Correct.
  22. UCLA (17-1) beats Arizona 73-69...fourth Bruin victory in a row against the Wildcats. Arizona has now lost 3 in a row and 4 of its last 5 since Marcus Williams said this about UCLA: "We're the standard. I don't think they are the standard." And it doesn't matter if it's Farmar, Collison or Westbrook guarding Mustafa Shakur...he just can't do crap against UCLA. :)
  23. Why do people like Harvey? They don't like the rest of the system.
