Wow. I feel bad for the guy. Hope his surgery(ies) and rehab goes well. the espn ticker just kept going ...torn ACL...torn MCL....torn PCL....dislocated... well of course its dislocated, thats pretty much all the ligaments (i think). it hurts to think about it. he's a peoria kid, right? He tore three of the four ligaments in his knee according to the LA Times. And they're still saying this is a potentially career-ending injury. :| Yeah, he's from Peoria.

You're right...not that there's anything wrong with that...

What the hell? Davhern, do you have something you'd like to tell us?

Talk to me when someone besides PFT is reporting this. PFT is crap.

Yeah, my mom was an English and Journalism major too and is an editor, so I definitely proof all my posts.

But St. Louis are up on the Marlins 6-1. :( Is that on XM anywhere? I don't have XM so I don't know, just saw it on ESPN's web site.

Well you'd have to look at teams that had a 96 loss season and then spend $300 million in the offseason after that. This case is unique. What does the W-L record and offseason spending have to do with Dempster's struggles and possibilities of returning to form?

Ya know..... last year, the CUBS were 12-3 when they scored at least 3 runs in the first inning...... 54-93 when they didn't. Man, I'm really getting excited about baseball !! A Fred stat!

On of his agents met with the Cards, but one Cardinal official put it at a 1 million-to-1 chance that Roger would be a Cardinal (per ESPN News).

Dang, Livingston is expected to be out the rest of this season and all of next season. How horrible. :(
  17. CaliforniaRaisin
Nope, he's supposed to be a really, really good kid.

Cuban supposedly brought a lot of people to the mix to look at various numbers and stats when he became the Mavericks owner. This is honestly the only guy I'd be interested in seeing become a new owner.
  19. CaliforniaRaisin
Nice. Someone better post updates for those of us w/o gameday audio.
  20. CaliforniaRaisin
No doubt about it, it has to be Thursday.

All is quiet on the Eastern front...thus far. He will get in eventually, although he should have been in long ago. Has the injury bug hit camp yet??? Sean Marshall is about a week behind because of shoulder problems from the end of last season and the offseason. Kerry Wood is a few days behind because of his rib injury from falling out of a hot tub. The games start on Thursday (37 hours to go). Here are the scheduled starters: Thursday: Jason Marquis vs. the Giants Friday: Carlos Zambrano vs. the Angels Saturday: Wade Miller vs. the A's Sunday: Rich Hill vs. the White Sox Monday: Mark Prior vs. the Mariners

Haha, it was hilarious to hear Dick Vitale ranting against the HOF during the Florida-Tennessee basketball game.
  23. CaliforniaRaisin
Thank goodness Tennessee held on there.
  24. CaliforniaRaisin
He ended up in the Cardinals system last season.

I would love it if the Bulls could scoop up Al Horford with the Knicks pick.
