  1. Yep, they had awful shot selection, but the refs didn't help matters either. Oh well, hopefully Golden State closes it out against the NBA's golden boys in Oakland. I didn't know GS was facing the Spurs/Heat/Lakers/Suns. The Lakers definitely are out of the golden boys circle...Mavs sure are in (as are the Pistons).
  2. The refs sure didn't help. What are you referring to...the walk on Dirk? All the stars get that call. The non-over the back ball out on Barnes? It was. Like the announcer just said the Warriors missed their last eight shots and let Dallas go on a 15-0 run to end the game. You can't do that. The refs didn't make them take bad shots. That was their own decision. Dirk hitting Richardson on a 3-point attempt. No foul call. Barnes getting hit on a 3-pt attempt. No foul call. Baron Davis fouling out by...not fouling the Maverick player.
  3. He was probably mouthing something to the official standing there in the lane and doing the clapping to mock him. I certainly hope he said something. Wouldn't surprise me if he didn't. Baron already got tossed from a game this series for just clapping.
  4. The refs sure didn't help.
  5. Matt Barnes was fouled on the 3-point shot. No call. Ball goes out of bounds off Dallas. Loose ball foul on GSW.
  6. NBA refs blow. No over the back? Just in case, why don't the refs kick out Warriors players. They might clap again.
  7. If Mark Cuban ever complains about the refs again, someone should just show him the final 2:30 of this game. GSW = totally hosed.
  8. Ugh. Don't freaking blow this. Of course Dirk walked, but they won't call it.
  9. I know in the previous two games, the Cubs have asked Guzman to work on a few things in terms of location of his FB and slider and that threw of his control. Don't know if they asked him to work on those same things today too.
  10. oooh, good question! I would think that separate threads would be easier to manage from the persepctive of the thread starter. Resume posting in this thread for the suspended game. Someone can start a new thread for the second game if the Cubs hold and davhern can't start a new thread.
  11. Do the guys in Pittsburgh know how to read a radar map? Dumb.
  12. Iowa loses 14-4. At least Rapada had a shutout inning with 2 Ks.
  13. GREAT end to the second quarter by the Warriors and now a techincal foul at halftime for Stackhouse. GSW down only 7.
  14. papelbon for starter. i can't believe all the stuff about how boston made such a great decision moving him back to closer...he's thrown like eight innings all year. i fail to see how that's better than having him throw 35. Seriously. I couldn't believe the love the media was giving the Red Sox for making Papelbon lose 125 innings this season.
  15. Found the Ask BA stuff (link for anyone who's interested: http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/askba/263810.html ). Thanks. I just hope Scherzer allows Wieters or Vitters to drop. It's asking too much for a repeat of last season with Scherzer = Hochevar and Price = Miller.
  16. Peoria lost 6-1. Papelbon is getting the Ks but he's still struggling. I know he started the year sick which probably hurt a few of his outings, but still. Iowa down 12-4 in the 7th. Pagan with a 3-run HR.
  17. Ugh, Dallas has come out strong and is threatening to turn this one into a blowout early.
  18. No-no through 6. Discuss. (The sole purpose of this thread is to piss off Rob.)
  19. Hrm, looks like he wants 7-figures: And there's always Scherzer to consider.
  20. Nothing like waking up to baseball. :D Geez, that's early on the West Coast.
  21. If Toronto blows this game, I'm looking at Bosh trying to reverse an easy dunk and missing.
