    He actually has to just wait till the Iowa season is over before coming back. Their last game is Sept 7th, so less than ten days. If they had made the move a day earlier, they could have sent Patton down to the AZL Cubs for what was their last game of the season. Patton would have been eligible to come back right after their season was over.

    Still waiting to see which Cubs players will go. The list should come out today. I think it's reasonable to guess guys like Pierce Johnson, Victor Caratini and Ian Happ will be there. Would love to see Eloy or EJM get an aggressive assignment to the AFL. Gleyber Torres will be there.
