  1. They did delete it but horsefeathers the Cardinals forever for that.
  2. Man, I went 0-4 the last two seasons while the Cubs won 200 regular season games.
  3. I have to wonder if he's hurt. He hasn't been right all season.
  4. wut Almora has been pretty crappy defensively this year. His UZR this year is -2.1. Happ's is -0.3. However, last year Almora was at 5.7 UZR. That matches the eye test. Happ is faster, Almora gets better reads. Happ has (surprisingly) been a better defender. Almora was faster last year. I don't imagine Almora catches that double either.
  5. Adbert Alzolay went 10 days between starts (Aug 10 to Aug 20), got roughed up on Aug 20th and is now on the DL.

  7. I mean, Jay is probably a worse CF than Happ. Well that's cool and all, but I wasn't talking about Jay's defense. Jay's our CF and so when he isn't in, especially late in the game, I'd rather see Heyward or Almora in CF. Ugh, Jay better not be the everyday CF over Happ. I'm with you on Heyward but I'm not sure Almora is actually better than Happ defensively.
  8. de la Cruz: 3 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 1 K, 2-3 GO-FO, 40-29 pitches-strikes Glad they bumped him up now itself rather than let him have another rehab start in Mesa.

  15. Justin Wilson throwing a 1-2-3 inning is way more impressive than Rich Hill throwing 9 no-hit innings.
  16. Felt like Cleveland shouldn't have had much leverage.
  17. And now the Brewers are winning, all because of your typo.
  18. He had a really rough first and then recovered beautifully. Gave up the run, both walks, 2 singles (one was an IF single) and all 3 of his WPs in the first. Rest of the game: 4 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 7 K
