    Billy has been on the DL since June 24th. He came off his first stint on the DL to throw 2 innings in a start in a doubleheader, didn't pitch again and went back on the DL. I don't know what his injury is.

    2nd in SLG is really surprising. I too dont see the point of keeping him peoria any longer. Once this 3 game series is done and he works with his future double play partner its time to move south. BTW who is this hottest woman on the planet? Is she even a women yet, she looks younger than 18. Also this chic needs to lay of the lip gloss, shes got it all over her face. Truffle is going to kill you now. Since I knew nothing (still don't know very much) about Cubs' prospects prior to this year, does E. Patterson have a higher ceiling than it looked like Corey had at that level? No, Corey definitely had a much higher ceiling at low A than Eric. And no comment on the whole Josie Maran thing.

    Woohoo! Raw will be thrilled too. It is extremely impressive that the Jaxx have gotten three Pitchers of the Week in a row, for three different pitchers.

    Ok, that explains why Gwaltney was still with Daytona. I was confused when I heard he was warming in the Daytona pen.

    And Anderson Tavarez was roughed up for 3 R on 6 H in the top of the first inning. Daytona is coming up to bat in the bottom of the first. Scott Moore just missed a two-out HR, the OF Medina got a glove on the ball at the wall but didn't catch it, allowing Scott to get into second with a double. Brian Dopirak grounds out 6-3 to end the inning, though.

    Also, everyone should vote in their poll. It asks "Hot enough for you?" "@#&%^$!" currently leads with 61.7%. "Yes. Make it stop!" is in second with 18.7% followed by "No. Bring it on!" with 12.1%. And yes, I realize that only adds up to 92.5%. I voted "No. Bring it on!" because I don't live in Iowa and feel Iowans should suffer. :D

    David Aardsma has not pitched since the 20th and is NOT warming up right now in a save situation for WT. :? EDIT: Ron doesn't know if Aardsma is hurt or not.

    It sounds like the home plate ump is trying to make some trouble. Anyone care to explain for those of us who are unable to listen? The umps have made plenty of controversial calls during the game, and the crew chief has been giving it back to the both managers when they come out to argue. DJAXX reviewed the play I was referring to. Way to take one for the team, Creighton!

    .310/.375/.586/.961 in 29 ABs/9 games at AA. Not too shabby.

    It was only a matter of time for my favorite catcher turned outfielder turned pitching prospect on Earth. He does need to learn how to pitch, but he has a very gifted arm. I think worst case scenario, he could be a Francis Beltran type reliever. I love the converted catchers - Randy Wells too! Carlos just needs to work on that control (29 K, 21 BB, 4 HBP). Carlos' AA ERA is down to 3.31. Ron just corrected himself (DJAXX, did you e-mail Ron?)...Carlos hit 2 batters today. I do like Wells too. He has a very lively arm. I'd like to see him close full-time at AA (with Aardsma in Chicago). Does Randy just throw 2 pitches? He's gone back to the rotation in Daytona with good results in two starts thus far.

    Only one HBP on the line? Unless it was scored otherwise I know he hit 2 guys. That's what Ron Potesta said at the start of this half inning. EDIT: And Ron just repeated the same line.

    Sing actually has played quite a bit of RF this year and I haven't heard too much negative things about his defense there. I think Brandon is a top-15 prospect with the Cubs.
