UCLA up 28-14 early in the second quarter. Maurice Drew gets in on 4th and goal at the 1.
-
Why does ABC have a Big 10 football commercial in the middle of an ASU-UCLA game? 21-14 UCLA leads it with a little over 1 minute left in the first quarter. After 1 quarter, UCLA leads it 21-14. Drew Olson is 8/10 for 295 yards and 3 TDs.
-
The refs at this game are pathetic. Marcedes Lewis catches a pass in the end zone and is pushed out of the end zone and they spotted it in on the 1. Wow. EDIT: They review the call, TD UCLA! 21-7 they lead it with 4:36 in the first quarter. Drew Olson is 5/7 for 229 yards and 3 TDs in the first quarter.
-
ASU scores. UCLA's defense is bad enough, the refs don't need to help ASU. 14-7 with 6:18 to go in the first quarter.
-
Spencer Havner intercepts the ball for UCLA but the Bruins get a bogus defensive holding call. Jamal Anderson (yes, the former Atlanta Falcon who's announcing) is ripping the refs.
-
Smack him.
-
LSU wins it 16-13.
-
14-0 UCLA on a 56-yard TD pass to backup RB Chris Markey, 9:52 left in the first quarter.
-
ASU fumble!! My boy Spencer Havner recovers at the UCLA 20. That LSU-Alabama game isn't bad.
-
Drew Olson goes to Joe Cowan for a 91-yard TD pass on the first play of the game! Olson breaks Cade McNown's record for most TD passes in a season (26). 7-0, UCLA.
-
Senior day at Pasadena. Star middle linebacker Justin London out for the game for UCLA. :(
-
Oklahoma State and Texas Tech are tied at 17 with about a minute left in regulation.
-
USC leads it at half, 21-3 over the sister school. :( Just to note, I was there at Memorial Stadium at Berkeley the last time USC lost. That was a great day, USC lost and the Cubs clinched a playoff spot by winning a doubleheader against Pittsburgh. :)
-
21-3 USC. Cal isn't coming back unless Nate Longshore's broken ankle magically heals, Joe Ayoob is just lost at QB.
-
Wow, Joe Ayoob is pathetic. I know he's Cal's backup and all, but he's played all season. You'd think he'd have figured out his throwing mechanics by now.
-
They better not call that a TD for USC. He was out of bounds. Looks like the refs figured it out afterwards. These refs aren't that good, might want to check if a guy is inbounds before signalling for a TD. Leinart rushes in on the next play, 14-3 USC. The D just broke down on that play.
-
USC gets bailed out on 4th down on a BS pass interference call.
-
Cal kicks a 45-yard FG to make it 7-3.
-
USC turns the interception into a 7-0 lead with 7:15 to go in the first quarter (LenDale White run).
-
Joe Ayoob is a pathetic quarterback. He throws it straight to Darnell Bing while Cal is driving. USC ball near midfield in the first quarter.

I'll take the first option everyday and twice on Sundays. What if Lugo cost the Cubs Pie? Then the Devil Rays will keep BJ Upton in the minors for another year because no one would trade for Lugo at that cost. He will cost some team some talent Raisin, maybe not Pie talent but some pretty decent talent. Agreed, but the DRays aren't getting a top-25 MLB prospect for him. They're more likely to get something like Hill and Nolasco for him.

Me neither. I'm sure Hendry would prefer the tools of Austin Kearns.

How good is Felix Pie?

He's played quite a few games for Licey since the ankle injury and doesn't seem to have any lingering issues with the ankle. -
How good is Felix Pie?

On Pie’s Defense: On Pie’s Power Potential: On his Ability to Win: And, of course, the DiamondJaxx went to the championship this year. I believe that they would have won it had Pie been able to play. I repeat that Pie is going to be a star. Plus, he's a fun-loving, exciting young man. He's exactly the kind of player that wee all love to root for. He plays with heart, effort, and joy. So enough with the Pie for Pierre suggestions. It would be nothing short than a collossal mistake to make such a move. And while I am all for targetting Dunn or Abreu, I would do everything I could to get one of them without trading Felix. Don't forget that Mesa, Boise, Lansing and Daytona all won it all with Felix.
