  1. Hah, my cousin must really be enjoying herself at the ND game.
  2. UCLA holds on to beat OU, 41-24. What a great game from Drew Olson and the D - especially Brigham Harwell, Justin London, Spencer Havner, Dennis Keyes and Jarrad Page. Adrian Peterson had 67 yards on 23 carries. Watching the ND-Michigan State game. Go MSU (because ND snapped UCLA's win streak in basketball back in the 70s :x).
  3. OU scores, UCLA recovers the onside kick and Maurice Drew punches it in with some quality runs. 41-24, UCLA, 2:33 to go. :D
  4. Thanks for all your contributions here at NSBB, Nathan, Bo and Ron and you guys do a wonderful job up in the broadcast booth. All three of you are delights to listen to. Also, thanks to whomever gets your broadcasts online, it's great to hear the exploits of players most of us have only read about.
  5. Yeah, it's a bittersweet saying it now, but the Jaxx had a wonderful and exciting season. And Ron, thanks for all your help and the great broadcasts! Even though you don't seem to think so, you're a great announcer.
  6. OU gets a huge interception called back because someone on D was holding before the pick. Chris Markey scampers in for an 8 yard TD catch, UCLA now leads 34-17. with 7:16 left in the game. :)
  7. What the hell, Cal? Let's go. :x
  8. Wow, that was the weirdest series ever. On first down, Adrian Peterson runs it, gets stuffed, pitches it back to the QB who was not expecting it. Bomar is immediately dropped - a loss of 3 turns into a loss of 9. On fourth down, they go option, Bomar pitches poorly, and AD just keeps tipping it to himself as he goes backwards and finally gives up on the play and knocks it out of bounds so UCLA doesn't get a chance to return it. OU has 7 fumbles, 3 lost.
  9. Touchdown, Marcedes Lewis! UCLA up 27-17 w/ 12:32 left in the fourth quarter.
  10. 20-17, UCLA leads it. Adrian Peterson gets on track for a TD, but OU was aided by a bad call late hit penalty on UCLA. :x
  11. Keyes knocks the ball out of QB Rhett Bomar's hand, my boy Spencer Havner picks it up and returns it a few yards for a touchdown, UCLA now up 20-10.
  12. :( MiLB.com got it right, Jacksonville in 4.
  13. Grr... Jaxx down to their last out.
  14. UCLA up on OU 13-10 at the half. Adrian Peterson has had on-again, off-again hamstring problems this whole second quarter.
  15. Me too. Aardsma has been struggling since August.
  16. That sucks. Center is not the easiest position to come off the bench and play. Any word if he'll be back? He came back and made some key blocks to spring Maurice Drew for a few rushes after Mo had been shut down all day. And Justin Medlock kicks a 52-yard FG to make it 13-7 UCLA!
  17. Yeah, 12" league w/ a lot of illegal bats. BeerHere has a K...swinging. I've been called out looking once. The strike zone can get pretty ridiculous. That was awesome, Ron should know the mic was still on.
  18. Yeah, 12" league w/ a lot of illegal bats.
  19. And now UCLA's senior team captain and center (McCloskey) is injured. :( OU missed a FG that looked good - apparently it was wide right, and then hooked into the middle. Still 10-7, with 8:41 in the 2nd quarter. UCLA rushing is just not getting anything against OU's defense. Bleh.
  20. These umps suck. Thank you, Brandon.
  21. Leadoff stand-up double for Casey McGhee.
  22. Bad call. Of course it's tough to tell with the camera angle.
  23. 10-7 UCLA following an Adrian Peterson fumble. :)
