    Dye just stayed healthy, El Duque was very average, Everett was aswell, and Pierzynski batted well below his career average. El duque had a 5.12 ERA for the season, averaging 5 1/3 innings per start. Estesesque I think his performance in Game 3 of the ALDS has obscured that for some. I would have kept McCarthy on the roster over El Duque.

    Leadoff with Lidge? I don't think there's that much quality on the Astros bench anyways and this is a must-win game for them.
