  1. Yikes, the Big Ten is having a really rough year. They better get one win down in Tempe.
  2. RJ Jackson should compete at RB, no?
  3. Outback Bowl: Florida leads Iowa at the half, 24-7. Cottown Bow: Alabama leads Texas Tech at the half, 7-3. Gator Bowl: Louisville leads Virginia Tech 7-0 midway through the first quarter.
  4. Cotton Bowl - Texas Tech vs. Alabama - FOX, on now Outback Bowl - Iowa vs. Florida - ESPN, on now Gator Bowl - Louisville vs. Virginia Tech - NBC, on now Capital One - Wisconsin vs. Auburn - ABC, 1 pm ET Fiesta Bowl - Notre Dame vs. Ohio State - ABC, 4:30 pm ET Sugar Bowl - West Virginia vs. Georgia - ABC, 8:30 pm ET
  5. Not at the Rose Bowl. The BCS banned any celebs from either team's sideline, apparently pissing off Snoop and Harry Winkler. http://www.fiftiesweb.com/fashion/fonzie.jpg The Fonz does not appreciate your misidentification of him as "Harry". Henry Winkler :P Whoops, my bad.
  6. I'd try to use him like Reggie Bush was used his freshman year: get him 10-15 touches a game between trick plays, playing at WR and punt returns. Does he play defense at all right now?
  7. Go OSU. For fantasy purposes, I'll be rooting for Teddy Ginn, he's definitely one of the most exciting players at the college level.
  8. What's with almost no New Year's Day bowls this year? And why is the Rose Parade moved to tomorrow? By Pasadena law, the Rose Parade is always postponed to the 2nd if the 1st is on a Sunday. The same for the Rose Bowl game if it was scheduled for the 1st. Those were for the 2005 bowl games. It's 2006 now. :P We probably should have a thread for all the games between Jan. 2 - 4. Mark, mind if I make this a thread for all the bowl games from now till the Rose Bowl?
  9. Holy Jesus the glove and ball are formed out of an M and B!!!! (Seriously, I didnt see it until people mentioned it in this thread) Same here. It makes me love the logo a lot more. Me three.
  10. And he threw an inning of relief the day before surgery too.
  11. Wow, the backups poor showing dropped the Bears defense statistically to second. Oh well.
  12. Thanks, Mark. Yeah, that's why I'm leaning towards DeSean. Plus I think Longshore is a better QB than Reggie Ball and Marshawn Lynch and all the other options on the Cal offense (plus Cal and Tedford's offensive reputation) can continue to open things up for DeSean. Teddy Ginn would be really smart to start working as a DB next year. That's what he was recruited for and he'll be a top-10 pick for his DB work, not his time at WR.
  13. Yeah, especially if it involves tongue action. Hey hey, the Cubs didn't acquire Pudge, Urbina or Ozzie.
  14. I've only seen Vernon Davis 3 times, but Marcedes is definitely the better pass-receiver and Davis the better blocker. Vernon is defintely more raw than Marcedes. He definitely could add 10 lbs. His blocking has improved a lot. I expect one of Vernon or Marcedes to be available when the Bears pick and hope they take one of them. I'd be in heaven if that one was Marcedes. :D
  15. Not at the Rose Bowl. The BCS banned any celebs from either team's sideline, apparently pissing off Snoop and Harry Winkler.
  16. Please give me input about my impending college football keeper situation in the Fantasy forum - especially if you know Georgia Tech or Ohio State football.
  17. I get to keep one WR, between Cal's freshman DeSean Jackson (aka rawaction), and sophomores Calvin Johnson og Georgia Tech and Teddy Ginn, Jr. of Ohio State. Calvin and Teddy are already sophomores, so it appears as though I will have DeSean for one more year than the other two. Reggie Ball will be Calvin's QB next year (I haven't thought too much of him these past few years) while the highly-heralded Nate Longshore should start at QB in Berkeley (but Nate only has played 2 quarters of college football). I was disappointed in Ginn fantasy-wise, so I'd prefer Johnson or Jackson. What do you think?
  18. Felin will be 22 before next season and has never pitched above Mesa. Not too encouraging, of course there's still tons of time.
  19. Checking out MiLB.com, Felin had 24 IP but Inoa did not log any ABs. Albuquerque was converted from catcher, I think.
  20. Felin did pitch for Mesa last year.
  21. By the way, if you're tired of USC, just try living in LA.
  22. Yeah, I hope the Bulls get him.
