Man, I've been watching the last 19 seconds on repeat off CBS Sportsline's web site all morning. :)

Well, that last game certainly was fun. :)

I guess it depends on what side of the fence you sit on. I didn't see an Illinois win in that game, nor did I see an Illinois comeback. I saw an Arizona loss, and an Arizona collapse. It was still a great game, but I saw more of a collapse than I did a comeback. You have to give Illinois some credit for that. Arizona choked but the Illini definitely seized the opportunities they had.

For me, the only thing I didn't get was why Morrison was crying with 2.1 seconds left. They still had a chance at that time.

If only you were an illinois fan :) then you could of apprecated the zona game.....i doubt i will ever see a better basketball game I think Raisin was too busy complaining and making excuses about that game. Actually, I really didn't care. I hate Arizona way more than I'll ever care about Illinois. You definitely cheered for Zona. Only because they represented the Pac-10. I really hate Mustafa and Lute Olson, I wasn't exactly saddened to see Illinois win (and embarass Lute, at that).

Yeah, Coats was working with the IFs on Friday too.

I'll go point-by-point... -We'll see when it comes to Nic. If he can stay healthy, he might have a chance to finally make something of himself...but lately, that's been one heck of an if. -Downs is a surprise. He started out in Peoria last season and got shellacked, then came back with Boise and didn't exactly look all that stellar given that he was repeating. Are the Cubs trying to make something of him or has he finally added those mythical inches to kick his velocity up? -Wow is that Peoria rotation left-handed. -Good to see Pawelek is ahead of schedule and skipping Boise ala Gallagher last season. -Taylor in Peoria is mildly surprising, given that he was drafted last year out of high school and spent most of his time down in Arizona with a stint in Boise. Then again, his stuff was already advanced for his age, so it should be fun to see what he can do. -Norwood was a guy I was pulling for last season. Ugly injury he had to end last season. Yech. -Mercedes is one of the Latin guys I've been curious about. Seeing him get some regular time behind the dish at Boise would be nice. Also, considering most of the Arizona/Boise guys are draftees, I'm kinda unsurprised they haven't announced the rosters yet... Those aren't necessarily rosters, just the group the players were practicing with. A lot of the players were affected by the WBC depleting the big league squad and also guys like Marshall, Marmol, Ryu, etc. being with the big league team.

Apparently you haven't read/seen what Morrison says and does on the court if you think he's not a bad person.

How old was Z when he came up and stayed on the Cubs? How much experience in the minors did he have? I'd like to see one of these kids get into the rotation. true. but even then, who was thought of to be the real prospect and the relief guy between he and cruz? On the other hand, both Z and Cruz were thought of more highly than Ryu, Marshall, Hill or Guzman are right now.

Wow! :shock: If he's up to 94 again... He's been at 91-92 since that first fastball. Not bad. He has been mostly in the upper 80s (topping out around 90-91) the past few seasons.
