  1. Come on defense scores at least one touchdown.
  2. Good. Its ugly. All Blue. Get rid of the blue jerseys too.
  3. Knowing how quickly MacPhail moves, we would be lucky to get him by January. If its for the purpose of a salary dump, I could see him moving quickly. Of course, the Cubs and Orioles have a recent history of trades that dont really benefit anyone IE Sosa, Patterson, Traschle. Pffft, does the name Mike Fotenot mean anything to you!
  4. We'll see if I can catch some games this year. While in STL I get WGN, but a lot of times we don't actually get the Chicago games. If I get a few, I may try to watch, but its hard to closely follow four major sports let alone the three I follow now.
  5. Don't know the rules, strategy, players, etc. Is it because you were never interested in learning? Not being a jerk, just asking. Pretty much, wsith the Blackhawks being relevant I have taken some effort to learn about the stars but nothing real deep, just basic stuff.

  7. Good News!
  8. Pick Rose. Use Hinrich and Deng as the basic starting block to get a proven version of Beasley - Carmelo Anthony (if Denver seriously considers trading him) Rose/Thabo Gordon/Thabo Melo/Nocioni Gooden/Thomas/Nocioni Noah/Gooden/Gray
  9. Still not convinced.
  10. This is pissing off a lot of Cardinal's fans too.
  11. I'll go with... .211/.287/.350 with 2 HRs in 30 games. .231/.333/.344
  12. The experience thing is overrated. Phil Jackson, Popovich, Rudy T, and Pat Riley, who have accounted for the majority (all but two) of the NBA Championships in the past twenty years won a championship during their first head coaching job. Riley in his first season, Jackson, Popovich, and Rudy T in their second(full) season. These Bulls aren't a championship team, but it's something to think about.
  13. Predictionn: I'm drunk well hey, at least some predictions come true.
  14. Is that Lloyd? lol cut him
  15. WTF? 3 OF 4 MIF 13 Pitchers Something doesn't seem right here...
  16. Only assuming that the player(s) we get back are just as likely to help us win this year. Sorry, but if we want to maximize our chances of winning this year it isn't happening by getting rid of Soriano and downgrading to Murton, Cedeno, or whoever. Now say we got back a pitcher, or upgrade at SS, then it might be justified. But when Soriano gets back and his bat heats up, he's going to be just as helpful in getting us wins as anyone else right now.
  17. Despite his contract situation, I wouldn't trade him this year. Once he get back and his healthy and his bat heats up he will be way too valuable for us this year if we are serious about winning the World Series. Now if the return was good enough that the drop in production from Soriano to Murton/Johnson/DeRosa/Pie was justified by the return I'd do it, but I don't think Drew qualifies. After this year, I'd definitely be much more open to trading Soriano, even if the package back was crap.
  18. Funny thing is that Wagner really is right-handed. He only started throwing lefty at age 10 or 11 because he broke his right arm. Jesus, I wish I could just one day start throwing 100mph with my non-dominant arm. Have you actually tried throwing with your non dominant hand... maybe? Yes and I throw like a complete girl with my left hand. And that's different from how you throw with your right hand... how exactly? Perfect execution, WF22 assists to Rob.
  19. He's clutch, turns out he'll be alright.

  21. So we aren't planning on upgrading safety... sweet. Can't wait for Mike Brown to get injured and our defense become immediately worse.
  22. If we improve our line, Peterson and some June 1st cut would probably be passable for the season. If we ignore the line, anyone we could realistically put back there will suck. Plus Grossman will always be on his back. Draft line early.
  23. Well, I think that certain players might fold under pressure, so un-clutch may very well exist. But I don't think a majority of the players are skilled enough to the point where they can control the bat exceptionally better than normal in clutch situations year in and year out. There may be a handful of guys who might be able to, but I'd bet those guys are also just good hitters anyways, so how clutch is really?
  24. His response is 100% true, but avoids the fact that he didn't include it in the article. wth
  25. I'd go for it as long as it wasn't too expensive and only for a short length.
