    I was under the impression that Stewart was a FA after this year(making that a really easy decision), but BR says that he still has another arbitration year. Even with that though, the best we can hope for Stewart is that he plays really well now that he's healthy and we get 1 year of production from him next year before free agency. Given his struggles last year, his lack of hitting in Iowa, and the outright disdain the organization(especially Sveum) seems to have for him, I don't think Valbuena is at risk for losing much playing time if Stewart takes Ransom's roster spot. Even if hes arb elligible, he'll cost a few million. Even if you can bring him in at a million, thats money better spent elsewhere (unless he dramatically proves otherwise in the remainder of the season). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    What the hell? Those were probably written pre-draft. And Urlacher was 6-4, 260 coming out, and ran as fast as some DBs/WRs. The height weight is a good point. It's one thing to run like a RB, but another thing when you're the size of a TE. Urlacher could always cheat a little bit more covering the middle because you couldn't sneak passes over him as easily. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    By the way, regarding Slauson he has snapped in a game three times from what I read (as in 3 total snaps). I'm totally up for doing that and kicking Garza to the curb if he can pick it up though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Eh, I'm not too worried about age. Football careers are short anyways. In fact in the instance of Long it is offset a bit by the fact his body has taken less of a toll to this point (which is also offset by inexperience) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I'm not worried the Bears reached to get an OL, I think they legitimately thought he was BPA available, which is crazy. Of course I'm no fan of consensus thought, but I'm highly skeptical here.     Roses is basically using up the majority of his goodwill that he gained over his first 4 years with the Bulls. He was accessible, said all the right things, won an MVP, led the team to the best record in the NBA 2 years in a row, etc. People are frustrated, but the media is going to treat him better than Cutler, who is known to be aloof. I gotta tell ya, I'm chuckling over everyone losing their minds on this. When he comes back, and is his usual self, especially if he has an improved jumper, none of that is going to matter. Everybody's gonna be all giddy that he's back, and move along happily watching him, buying his jerseys, and forgetting that this year even happened. I don't know about forget. Things will be more or less back to normal, but a lot of fans (especially the meatballs, and on this subject I admit to having some meatbally tendencies) aren't going to just fail to remember that he basically punted a season. Unless/until, of course, he leads a team to a championship, which as we've seen over and over again is the cure-all for any athlete, especially an NBA player. LOL @ DRose leading a team to a championship If LeBron James isn't a thing, he already has one most likely. WTF does that mean?     Plus theres the fact that extra time off really isn't going to help heal his knee. The surgery was either successful and he'll be back stronger than ever like AP or it wasn't as successful and he'll have lost something forever. But physically there is no more healing left to do. The actual ligament has been fine since sometime in late 2012 (not suggesting you can come back that soon obviously as rehabbing is a huge chunk of the recovery process, but all signs point to Derrick's rehab having gone excellent). Maybe it wasn't successful and Derrick has lost an element he will never get back. And perhaps thats his issue, he thinks he can get back to that point, although actually getting on the court is the only way to get there, if at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Yea it basically just takes extreme discipline to only draft BPA. I did a draft that I copy and pasted the top 20 every time I could, just so I could track who had been there the longest. Still topped out at 4200. Was good for the highest score in that draft. Not sure how those 5000 scores are possible, other than maybe cumplulsive playing until you hit the extreme end of the luck bell curve. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    It's possible, I just think if there is a change it'll primarily be due to wantin to do something different the second time around rather than new information that has come out. Star's issues were well known when we did the first round and Werner's still a guy who should go late in the first but is a top 10 candidate. I do agree we may see some differences in the 2 first rounds, but it'd probably be for reasons other than new information changing people's opinion of who they chose initially. I don't think there is a ton of new info on players, but more info on certain teams thought process. So depending on how you do your picks, you may choose a new player if additional rumors came out in regards to that team, rather than the player. If you picked based on what you would do, I agree there is less likely to be info to change your mind. I know in years past we did the first round much earlier and this year was a much faster pace, so should be less change in general. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    All it takes is one of the top 5 or 6 to change what happens next, and the Jets/Tampa trade certainly throws a wrench. I would be shocked if we went through the first 12 with the same selections. Other than changing it up just for the same of changing it up, I'm not sure what new information is out there to change the first 12 picks. We've not had anybody rise a huge amount or anybody's stock collapse either. I wouldn't be stunned if the first 12 picks stay exactly the same if we redo it. That said I'm more than willing to do it if the interest is there. Its impossible to say what certain posters will do, but just in the top five I could see Star and Werner dropping and Fischer going 4.
