  1. I'll make it easy on you. Broncos for me. raw wants NFC, so he gets Cardinals. TT has Chiefs, hawkeye - Vikes Leaves just Pats and Fins. Fins to Raisin since they pick sooner. We'll figure out the Pats later. Get this thing started tomorrow. Edit- looks like Wekin wants a team too. So Pats to him (or vice versa with Raisin- either way, those picks are far off, so this things ready to start)
  2. No extra year in the S&T anymore. So NY has a big leg up as far as contract value goes. A S&T would be tricky because it basically means the Bulls don't have the space they need to sign Melo outright. It would really require us and Melo to use LA as leverage to the point where Melo tells Phil he can work out a S&T with the Bulls or he signs in LA. Sent from my Lenovo S5000-F using Tapatalk
  3. I'll jump in on really any team that needs help filling spots if we get to doubling up. Maybe the Browns, but anywhere is fine really. Sent from my Lenovo S5000-F using Tapatalk

  5. While that's true for right now, the articles have mentioned the Ricketts wanting to make sure they maintain control into at least the "next generation". I'm not sure how it works anyways since it's owned by the trust, but my assumption is at the end of the day each Rickett right now has a ~23.75% stake and depending on how many kids they all have next in line, they want to be sure a couple family numbers couldn't jump ship so to speak and easily sell the club because ownership is so diluted. So maybe we'd only see up to about 20% or so depending on how they figure the numbers out or how the subsequent ownership is outlined in the trust docs.
  6. Well the good news is we aren't using the extra revenue this year anyways.
  7. The Garza trade will go down as an all time steal.
  8. I don't know how I could choose anyone over Sammy. I'm fond of a lot of guys like Wood, but Sammy still wins. If I'm going with an upset choice it's Glenallen Hill because rooftop shots, and that only.
  9. Petition the MLB to implement a 16 inch softball-style 5th IF.
  10. Obviously the rolled over money is great but not if they get in another Tanaka situation where they put all their eggs in one basket except don't actually put all those eggs in the basket.
  11. We'll he's supposed to be a really good keeper for me so this sucks
  12. Absurd we pay the same amusement taxes as publicly funded stadiums
  13. You have a lot of potential- you'll get 'em next time- just gotta apply yourself
  14. It's not my fault you weren't at class this morning.
  15. yeah, they didn't want his number to be higher than his iq Bit of a late submission but a huge improvement to Thed's "Hester is dumb" content. 8 and 7 if you were more prompt, but I'm giving you a 6 and 4 since I can only assume you spent all day coming up with it.
  16. Positive me says it's not about platooning so much as over-working his shoulder, but they'll hold him out of game action in a platoon manner where possible until they think the shoulder is at full strength.
  17. I'm not even sure what the original statement was now, but it remains an interesting Comp.
  18. HOF or not, Ben Wallace is not the worst Noah comparison for his career to date. A bit more balanced, but I'm not sure you can get a better Noah comp without prefixing with "Poor man's".
  19. 5 to jersey with a 8 on delivery, 7 to badger but only a 3 on delivery. A 2 and a 5 respectively to Thed. Thanks for the submissions guys
  20. That number fits him, especially in their font. Looks good. Will be cool when he breaks the return record.
  21. I can get the argument about having too short of a peak, but his defense and rebounding at peak was certainly enough to bring him up in HOF discussions. Offensively he was dreadful at scoring. Offensive rebounds he is actually comparable to Noah, and both are quite good in that area. Wallace was a very good passer and save for 2014 who has seen his AST rate skyrocket 10% Noah and him are pretty comparable there. Wallace owns Noah as a defensive rebounder and they're pretty comparable as overall defenders. Wallace has an edge as both shot blocker and at steals. Noah, as much as he's not really a scorer still edges Wallace by a bit. Ultimately I don't think Wallace is a HOF but he has a HOF type peak. It was short though and when you take a relatively one way player and compound a short peak it really hurts your chances. You can get away being one sided with a long enough peak. Likewise a short peak could still get you in if you're a more well rounded player. Final verdict he isn't a HOF, but shouldn't be laughed out, especially when you look at the less advanced metrics that tend to affect HOF voting, mainly DPOY and a ring.
  22. I still am geared towards BDPA in round 1 but part of that is the offensive guys that project to be there. It seems there's way more defensive potential in that range. At this point though you can really go to BPA in Rd2, especially if that Rd1 guy is a DT where it looks like a couple of available guys can be starters right away in that 14 range. Other than QB in Rd2 I think if be okay going any position if they guy was a clear favorite. Taking the long view on our offense OL depth is still a must, and we should start planning for life after Forte. A viable third WR and viable 2nd TE would be nice too. We got so lucky with injuries last year on O, that's the thing that really scares me for 2014. While the top 11 looks great, there's plenty of justification for offensive needs that are just as important as D needs now that we've made most of our FA acquisitions.
  23. I'll be curious what they amount is. I'm sure it's irrational but I just have a fear he's ready to drop off. If we can get two good years out of him I feel really good about our chances.
  24. Yea but the Pacers stats are inflated by playing the Bulls a bunch
