  1. It's a below average line. But it's not the only thing failing this O right now. Trouble with blitz tonight. Not sure if that's Caleb, play calling, or line adjusting.
  2. It's absolutely was not a jump ball play on a good throw.
  3. It was 50/50 because it was well underthrown to the wrong shoulder.
  4. Huh? DJ Moore should get every type of ball. It was also way underthrown
  5. "Team x got late round value from a RB" shouldn't logically preclude drafting a RB higher. Having valuable run game was still ultimately really beneficial to those teams. It's hard to find good value at most spots of draft. So if you can get a valuable RB early... That can be a good thing!
  6. He'd enter the transfer portal his Jr year when his brother graduates, then play for a mid tier SEC school and catapult himself up the draft boards.
  7. Laugh at the sports gods at your peril. They demand suitable offerings and ugly uniforms are an affront to them.
  8. All I'm hearing is the Bears are due for a SNF win
  9. I feel like the RB formula should be roughly: 1-6: no 7-16: would I draft this same skills set as a slot only receiver at this pick 17-45: 3 down player who can run, catch, and block. Does not need to be subbed out in any situation 46-70: can catch ball but not necessarily strengrh 71+ : is good RB May be a few exceptions but don't disprove the rule.
  10. Yep. Now McCaffrey would have been worth a 20 something first, but 8 was a moderate over draft. Though I've seen plenty worse. It was in some ways a risk averse pick since the floor was so high. But like all RB they also have to stay healthy and he missed plenty of snaps over his 6 years in Carolina.
  11. It's a funny chart. Not the least of which the absolute bomb of a throw Richardson had that got lots of chatter v where he is on that chart (assuming it's an accurate chart and all). But yea, want to see Caleb flip his spot on the x axis athere
  12. Also if a lot of those Waldron critiques are execution based that's not just a Waldron, but an entire coaching staff critique. If it was purely play calling, then that's Waldron, but Flus is responsible for practice tone and pre season strategy to get guys mentally ready to execute.
  13. A big reason why some of the loftier stat line expectations were not realistic. I'd be thrilled with a solid 3,600 yard year if it was good efficiency, grades and Ws
  14. There was at least one play where Jenkins critiques him for going to quick and after 2.5 years of Fields I was like "oh yea that can be a thing"
  15. Only 40 minutes? That's like 3 plays tops by the top you fast forward through the groaning and pot shots at Kmet and Moore. Tim Jenkins released a 25 minute one as well.
  16. Situationally that isn't where I want CW heroics. That could easily be a FG range drive and it was a screen blown up early. You have the easy lost play by throwing it at RBs feet quickly and move on to 2nd and 10 at Titans 25.
  17. The fact that the quick outs was his most accurate target is the weird part. Usually when a guy is struggling with accuracy it's like the slants or posts that get them in a rhythm. Anyways sticking with my "burn the tape" take from right after the game. I don't even think there's much productive for him to watch that. And a worst case scenario that seeing some of those God awful throws on repeat get in his head. The kind of game where you want your QB to have a short memory. Onward!
  18. Welp apparently Odunze has an injury and is getting an MRI.
  19. I say 70/30, which still feels conservative
  20. You get what you deserve if you regularly listen to sports talk radio.
  21. JJ McCarthy threw for even less yards. Something something
  22. Honestly the D only looked bad for like two series which happened after the offense was completely unsuccessful at sustaining drives. If the O had been even remotely effective I think the D could have held Tennessee to no TDs.

  24. Hilarious final moments of the third: (redacted for more suspense building) (0:29 - 4th) (Shotgun) J.Doe pass short right to J.Doe to XXX 34 for 14 yards (J.Doe). FUMBLES (J.Doe), RECOVERED by XX-J.Doe at XXX 34. J.Doe to XXX 24 for 10 yards (J.Doe). PENALTY on XXX, Delay of Game, 5 yards, enforced at XXX 24. The Replay Official reviewed the fumble ruling, and the play was Upheld. The ruling on the field stands.
  25. It's called building suspense
