  1. I only am annoyed because of Poles Hard Knocks comment lol If I never knew there was actual interest in him and that Poles anchor value for him was a 4th the Velus experiment ending would practically be non-news. Knowing Poles valued him that high 8 weeks ago was hilarious, but I wanted to be proven wrong on that.
  2. Yea I mean it's a Facebook fan page. Have some self decency and put all your bad takes on Twitter next to the uh free speech nazis or whatever
  3. Sorry Kyle, actually Die Hard Chicago Bears on the Facebook.com says otherwise
  4. The tough schedule is a whole heck a lot of the division being tough. Which it is. But also the way people measure SOS (winning%) will come down as the division plays games against each other. So it's hard but they also have a 2x chance against most of what's making the schedule hard and will have an outsized impact in playoff odds. Sooo, meh?
  5. The Wild have played 4
  6. Honestly, we baited the gods with that one.
  7. Maybe he meant hot-ish
  8. The star of reality TVs Very Cavallari was arrested for a DUI https://www.tmz.com/2024/10/18/jay-cutler-arrested-for-dui/?adid=social-tw
  9. There's a real lack of quality OL. If the cost was basically minimum salary, maybe someone would bite. Now that I'm looking at Davis's contract he does have per game bonuses. So there actually is minimal cost savings for Bears to cut him or make sure he's inactive each week. If they did cut him, not sure if he has offset language if anyone did sign him. Really crazy how bad he's been. Feels like whatever family issue he dealt with last year really made him lack desire to play.
  10. I guess we'll see if a real roster crunch happens, but I don't see them just cutting Davis outright. Maybe you could shop him to a desperate team willing to give up like a conditional 2026 7th based on 2025 snaps (and pick up slightly more than his minimum salary for 2024)
  11. Perfect ly acceptable from an emergency longsnapper
  12. I think so too. On his second PAT snap I noticed it was just a little imperfect and said at time you don't want to be relying on a long FG in a critical moment. Just a little thing a former (very mid) varsity HS long snapper notices lol
  13. Showing up and doing someone else's job unremarkably and winning industry awards for it. Love it. Long snapping officially the most underappreciated job in sports.
  14. Eh Garret is probably good enough to keep around for v 2.0 after they figure out what to do with Watson Edit - and while I'm generally a fan of what Browns have done to manage their cap it isn't the most blow up friendly. They're kind of committed to seeing out most contracts, but especially if they think they are gonna move on from Watson (assuming they can't void his guarantees for some kind of cause).
  15. Doubt Garret is at all. I guess I could see Crosby made available, but I doubt for a price that makes sense.
  16. They should certainly put in a call, but not offer anything serious. Apparently there is a trade condition from the original deal that the Jets conditional pick to Eagles increases if they trade him to an NFC team. So I'd think he goes AFC if they can find even a decent offer. https://www.phillyvoice.com/report-previously-unknown-details-eagles-jets-haason-reddick-trade-emerge/
  17. What we have here is a traditional Chicago Bears style QB controversy.
  18. Sounds like he's not benched benched yet, but looks to be headed that way.
  19. This is really getting pedantic in terms of defining things, but I think reclamation project is pretty fair whereas bust isn't.

  21. Really the perfect bye week. Kids last game for soccer was last week and it's a great week to get some late fall yard work in before it gets cold. Thanks NFL.
  22. Didn't the Gary idea come with the cheesiest 90s development name ever. Like SportsWorldPlex or something lame?
  23. Nah that was a separate idea (if I'm remembering) McDome was the nickname of the proposal to put it on/near McCormick site. But wherever that proposal was has since been developed I think.
