Another new change in stance for heyward? This one is the wildest yet. Cross-handed (and righty) would be a big change. you have it wrong...his hands are fine and he's still swinging lefty, he's just actually looking backwards. i'm pretty excited about the possibilities for improvement.

Listening to this presser, I don't have a problem with them genuinely attempting to better Russell and maybe save someone else from further abuse, I just don't want to have to root for him on my baseball team. It's a weird feeling I can't exactly reconcile or feel great about on either side.

Based on how this winter has gone it's probably more like Darvish has late stage leprosy and they're scrambling on a containment plan It's actually a lot of detail basically guaranteeing that Russell is going to be a Cub this year, so worse. Hasn't that not been in question for a while now? He keeps up whatever they're making him do and he manages not to horsefeathers up again and he gets to play once his suspension is up?
