  1. b2b tells horsefeathering great jokes man
  2. I think i remember the one you mean, as sick as that is...it was off rob scahill. i can't find a damn clip of it online anymore, but apparently javy sees the ball quite well off rob scahill, because https://www.mlb.com/yankees/video/baezs-two-run-home-run/c-1058742983?tid=11061776 i remember javy blasting a monster dong off randy wolf in that spring training edit: lookie lookie I sorta remember that one too. The one I'm remembering was in a televised night game against the Rockies, to damn near straight away center. I remember the backdrop being this CF batters eye also, if we're talking spring training dongs, this has to be tops: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gfb9Xng2BqU

  5. i feel like this one deserves mention even though i had mostly forgotten about it
  6. there was a time (somewhere in the darkness of 2010-2014) where i would've thought you were insane if you told me that cubs era (07-08 in particular) wouldn't be my favorite by a wide mile. now i almost forget it happened. that's definitely a great one.
  7. He didn't end up being one of the core, Cardinals domination aside, but this was another one where it was like 'Hey, Cubs are here' [bbvideo=560,315] [/bbvideo] yep i'll always remember those few weeks in late 2014 as being the first time i saw the light at the end of the tank tunnel
  8. that goofy dude politely applauding after schwarber's wild card game dong at the right of the bar crowd shot always cracks me the hell up
  9. soler didn't do that many awesome things, so i really appreciate how many of them were in or against st louis
  10. oh horsefeathers yes this was so horsefeathering awesome
  11. I saw a Tweet on this going around and I decided I'd post it here for all the old fuddy duddies who don't mess with that. Hopefully this thread can just become a dong posting party. I tried narrowing it down to one and I couldn't. These all came to mind for me... I was actually a little surprised at just how many awesome ones there have been from just this era. Hope I didn't steal all the good ones!

  13. accidental decimal on eloy
  14. lol my mind absolutely went here
  15. alou-esque (stealing the comp from Tim IIRC)
  16. Almora made some pretty big changes to his stance and apparently is hitting the ball hard and far and in the air a lot more than before. Who knows if it's anything, but his biggest problem (just ahead of his patience) has always been hitting the ball too weakly and on the ground, so who the hell knows? sharma wrote about it [tweet] [/tweet]

  18. why would you not believe that? 93.5 wins would be a very high projection. by zips it would be the highest in the NL this year. yeah i'd say the unbelievable projection for them to get right would have been 2016. yup...and 2015
  19. I'm not sure I believe their system spit out somewhere between 90.5 and 93.5 wins going into 2017 (though he did say just about every year). Even its just lip service, its nice to hear though. why would you not believe that? 93.5 wins would be a very high projection. by steamer (zips?) it would be the highest in the NL this year.
  20. and they can't even make money off that hotel I do wonder what kind of business they do in the off-season. There’s really nothing going on in Wrigleyville in February. But I’m sure they thought about all this before they built the damn thing. out of curiosity, decided to check rates for tonight... a random thursday in february. $180 on the wholesale sites. into the $200s for the weekend.
  21. It's Jesse Rogers but there are some decent quotes in here [tweet] [/tweet]

  23. [tweet]https://twitter.com/HuddleSportz/status/1097663396810375168[/tweet] this is probably a lucky guess based on the highly public rumors of them being in talks at that point, not a scoop aside from the years and dollars being wrong, based on rick hahn's own words, they were still in negotiations with the white sox at that point
  24. Find a way to get this horsefeathering done, Theo
  25. [tweet] [/tweet] i knew my moronic ass would turn as soon as i saw one video of KB swinging a bat and here we are nl central favorites baby right there with you
