    I actually think he is just blessed with above average intelligence overall. For such a young guy to have such command over calling the game and handling the staff, and to speak such perfect English and give such articulate answers in interviews is very impressive. Sign Geo up for MENSA! English is actually fairly widely spoken in Puerto Rico. I think it's actually mandatory in school there. But he does seem like a smart guy.

    Yea, I really don't get how people think the Cubs are an overlooked team. They might not get as much regular pub nationally as those other teams, but that's because they're not regularly as good as those teams. There is no chance in hell that a winning Cubs team gets brushed aside.

    Ugh... I've said it before but I effing HATE how Hughes voice gets excited when bad things happen... Just now I thought it was a ground ball was gonna get through by the way he was calling it but instead it was a freaking DP.

    Soriano seems to be really walking more lately. If he actually learns to walk, he'd be a beast... he'd go from a very good hitter to an elite one

    Bingo. Ideally, this would kill 2 birds with one stone if they could find a corner masher to hit #3 next year instead of Lee with Derrek batting #2 or #5 instead. Despite his batting woes, Kosuke is dynamite defenisvely and should be able to handle CF in a platoon with Johnson. Yeah, that's an expensive platoon, but you can't just leave him out there fulltime in a primo offensive slot if he doesn't drastically improve. Was Tex a bad RF or is he going to stay at 1st from here on? He has played 18 games there, 32 total in the outfield, and hasn't played anywhere but 1B since the 7 games he played in RF in 2004.
