  1. I saw that post... I figured he was just kidding. Someone else would've noticed that by now.
  2. But lets be honest. He might know where he'd like to go, but he's not making final decisions until numbers are being discussed, which he can't do with anyone (other than Cleveland) until July 1...correct? I just don't think it's as simple as waiting on July 1 to roll around to hand him a jersey. What numbers are there to discuss? It's pretty much cut and dry.
  3. It's entirely possible that he has decided already, though. It's not like he can't pick and choose where he goes. There is nobody who could sign him who wouldn't. Do the pitches (come July 1st) mean something? Maybe... but I get the feeling they're about as important as a personal statement on a college app.
  4. Scoop Jackson (take that FWIW) claims in this clip that LeBron called DRose and had a long conversation with him about playing together. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=5187816&categoryid=2459788
  5. I'm not sure if you mean to tie all those thoughts together, but just to be clear, you're aware that the Bulls don't need to do a S&T to sign LBJ, right? They can sign him outright.
  6. oh good lord... trying not to get excited, trying not to get excited... If GarPax lands LBJ and Bosh (Wade would be great, but redundant) this summer, I think I might go on a 5 day drinking binge. oh imb would love this if he's been paying attention
  7. Except the team has nothing to do with this.
  8. http://www.aww-kittah-aww.com/up/public/152582/timthumb.php.png lol
  9. I feel so dirty rooting for the Celtics but it feels so so right.
  10. Hah, didn't notice that.
  11. two days ago called.... :-)
  12. He's wrong in thinking that it matters very much that they wouldn't be an ideal fit... or would "never work." i don't see why two guys who can penetrate and have great court vision would not be a great fit. rose drives, you collapse on him, and it's lebron with an oop. sign a shooter to go along with them and you can't guard the shooter at all, you just can't. i don't see why it's so necessary to have a point guard who shoots the three when you can literally have a shooter at any other position. is it a rule that you can only have one guy to dribble-drive on the floor? i think it makes a ton of sense to have two guys who can get to the rim on the floor at the same time. rose has already developed a hell of a mid-range game, he'd be near unstoppable with lebron. unless the insinuation is that paul pierce doesn't make rajon rondo better and that neither is good for the other, and that's paul pierce, not lebron james. absolutely... another plus is that you can almost ensure that you have at least one ridiculously good penetrator (lol) on the floor at any given moment of a game
  13. I'm not the most well-versed person on basketball strategy, but would the triple post be an option with such a roster?

  15. Sonny Vaccaro was just on Waddle and Silvy Recap - Thinks there's a legit shot at Cal and Bron coming - Cal is happy in Kentucky, is in no rush, but wants his shot at winning a championship in the NBA - Wes is very involved - Vague description of who Wes is ("facilitator of relationships") - In his opinion, he has to leave Cleveland to win championships and be on the baskeball Mt. Rushmore, because Cleveland's roster isn't getting any better after this year.... - He believes LeBron is leaving (his opinion) - His opinion that Chicago and LAC have the best young talent in the league. - Says NJ would be a good situation with a big spending owner, but the two years in Newark throw a wrench in things... - NYK depends on what they can do with the cap space because there isn't much there. - In his opinion, the Bulls are the perfect fit. - He would tell the Bulls to sign Cal today, because even if he didn't get LeBron, he's an asset and would get players to come here.
  16. Bingo!! I believe that's all were going to end up with, zero faith in Gar and Johnny. If you believe Terry Boers, the Bulls are not interested in Joe Johnson at the max.
  17. http://www.chicagotribune.com/media/photo/2010-05/53730291.jpg that is hot
  18. I wouldn't say barely. The cap wound up being higher than anticipated so they'll have a little more on top of a max slot to work with. But nothing near max.
  19. No, they can't sign two max guys or even a max guy and a near max guy.... the likelihood of anybody taking those bags of crap off our hands in a favorable deal are slim. And if they could do it, they sure as hell would. They'd sign two max players if they had their way.
  20. Why would the Bulls need a pitcher? durrrrrrrrrr anthony
  21. And if you're looking for anymore Bron to Bulls talk... http://www.810whb.com/podcasts Check the Kevin Harlan podcast.
  22. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/842584/ChrisBro%20...%20051210.mp3 That's the interview
  23. Broussard was just on ESPN1000 confirming that, from talking to people around LeBron, if LeBron leaves Cleveland, Chicago is where he wants to go...ahead of NY. Giving the standard disclaimer that stuff can obviously change and there's a month and a half to go. Says Chicago will get a long and hard look from LeBron James if he decides to leave Cleveland.
  24. Already getting the radio callers saying they don't want LeBron :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))
