  1. It uses your device location. I've never used it with a VPN, but a friend has and never reported any issues. For $130 you can get all MLB teams. As opposed to having to buy a whole package with Marquee included. I already use the radio package with MLB. if you happen to have t-mobile phone service, you should bet getting an mlb.tv sub for free, just FYI. the sub would start on march 30th.
  2. Was thinking along similar lines, say for a moment we allow ourselves to believe the Bears are allowed to have such nice things, what'll be the cost? I think it'll be high but, how high? who cares worst case, i'd rather lose with russell wilson than have another defense first 9-7 squad narrowly miss or lose in the playoffs. give me a damn real quarterback for once.
  3. the wilson stuff definitely seems to be picking up steam
  4. maybe but he got his nickname in said professional setting do you feel this way about bo jackson? minnie minoso? etc
  5. that was a glorious dong from rizzo
  6. if anything i think they had him chasing the launch angle dragon for a awhile and it fucked him all up
  7. watching the replay of this game right now on marquee boog and JD played off each other like they've been together for years. this is gonna be good.
  8. yeah, that was pretty nasty
  9. that's just a testament to how out of town stupid most people are and how hard it is to cover an entire league comprehensively. it's why i pretty much ignore any national media/sources when it comes to sports unless it's literally just analytics/data based stuff, bc that is just auto-compiled and isn't subject to people being biased/uninformed. at least the local guys have a strong feel for whatever org they are covering (assuming they aren't morons - which they often are).
  10. at least we made russell's list
  11. nice angle

    Bulls '20-'21

can lauri come back already so we can trade him for lonzo
  13. Castillo, Valbuena, Barney. I’d kill for those bats this season. aww man a classic valbuena bat flip on a non dong
  14. brett is so cringe like 99% of the time lol
  15. Not sure if it's anything but https://twitter.com/MichaelBalkoJr/status/1363250796754857986?s=19
  16. As I've posted before, they could have a very good year and win 90 games, if they were only playing Central Division games like last year. Unfortunately, MLB is making us play real ML teams this year. yes i was aware that you tried that joke 3 separate times
  17. screw off you pessimists and you doom boners it's spring and the world is showing signs of not being a complete disaster within a relatively short time frame. now is the time for optimism. KB, Javy, Rizzo and Willy are going to carry this team in the infield. they are all very good, so hopefully they can all be very good (and healthy) together again...which, yeah, it's been a while. nico will at least field his position really well and hopefully has some improvement in him at the plate. happ is going to continue to take off as a hitter, pederson is going to hit a bunch of dongs and field reasonably well, and heyward may or may not be a negative, but at least "may not" is realistically in play for once. the starting pitching is going to be better than expected and the infield defense is going to be a big reason why. hendricks is hendricks. davies, jake, and williams will do a cromulent job of eating innings and keeping us in games. that dork mills is fine for a 5th starter too i guess. alzolay and his new slider might sneak up on us and become awesome. i'm really excited to see if he can build on what he had going late last year. we'll see about the bullpen but there were some good signs from kimbrel and overall there is some good and bad. hopefully it'll shake out to something competent. at the very least, beating up on the pirates will be fun, but yeah let's go out and win 90+ in a crap division. plus i want to see boog have at least one good season with this group of guys before everything inevitably goes to horsefeathers.
  18. plus greg gabriel is legitimately an extremely dumb person and often full of horsefeathers
  19. i don't think there is a great example of one of these early arb buy out contracts turning out disastrously yet (i could totally be missing someone obvious) which is a good representation of why they are usually shitty for the player and great for the team, not that i don't get why players opt to do it.
  20. mike hampton is such a weird name to bring up as your example for this lol Why? He signed a mega-deal, blew out his arm, and never played again. He's a pretty good example of the risk of signing someone to a long term deal (though he is a pitcher, and screw pitchers) uh well first mike hampton pitched 5 seasons after signing that contract before blowing out his arm and missing two years from 33-34, he is a pitcher, and he signed that contract 21 years ago so even if he were a good comp i would think you'd pick someone more recent lol
  21. I mean, there's ALWAYS the risk that Tatis "Mike Hampton"s himself and is out of the game in two years, but yeah, I'm all for saying "horsefeathers it" to all the arbitration years and just locking up your obvious superstar mike hampton is such a weird name to bring up as your example for this lol
