  1. sale is definitely a hot head so it's gotta be related to him blowing up about the trade rumors or something along those lines
  2. oh by the way badger fix your avatar so that it isn't the photobucket stock image
  3. that pizza is weird as hell because it looks really good (aside from the spaghettios) and (i hate this term but) on the "artisan" end of the spectrum, except it's covered in spaghettios too
  4. So delish. I wish there was one in my terminal in SFO Yep. I'm not saying it's some mind blowingly different burger. but it's tasty and it's something i can only get when i'm there, so i get it. i just have to remember not to order fries. i don't like them that much and every single time i end up leaving 75% of them. i always forget that i don't, because i love all fries (except culvers too...oh and burger king's are an abomination).
  5. of course they open this broadcast with food porn
  6. Really depends on the individual/genetics but yeah.
  7. high protein, high fat, low carb? low fat, high carb? low fat low carb? It's the Ideal Protein diet; low carb, low sugar, low fat. Tons of veggies, protein-packed diet foods and 8 oz. of meat with dinner each night. I had been losing weight since the beginning of the year on my own, but then had a blood pressure spike that medicine could only get down so far. Doing this through my cardiologist's office (my heart has checked out as healthy, thankfully) and I've lost 20 pounds in 3 weeks. If you stick to the diet, men lose about 4-7 pounds a week and the protein and supplements prevent you from losing lean tissue. I have to go in each week to be weighed and measured, and they check my BP and do blood work every few weeks to make sure everything else is working fine. Ultimately it's something I could do on my own if I really invested the time and effort in making all of the food and measuring out the supplements, but I do much better with this sort of thing the less work I have to do. Can't argue with the results so far; sleeping better, BP down to normal levels and generally feeling MUCH better. I'll probably keep it up for another couple of months to get back to a weight I haven't been at in over a decade. Good for you. Glad it's going well. Are you incorporating any exercise too or just going with the diet? Working out on low carb is really hard. I have the same habit of looking at weird food porn (and i go on yelp a LOT) when I'm restricting my foods too. It weirdly helps.
  8. i'm (temporarily) done with this healthy crap the second i land in vegas and i am going straight for in n out.
  9. what kinds of things do you like to eat when you aren't concerned with health/cheat meal or what have you? i just want to see where we are here. Steak, all and any unhealthy brunch food (biscuits/gravy, fried chicken/biscuits), unhealthy carb loaded foods (pasta, pizza), cheese loaded Mexican food, but I generally try to eat healthy most of the time (lots of fish, lean meats) you started with steak and i was like "ehhhh that's pretty damn tame" but then i saw the rest of the list and i'm ok with you now.
  10. [tweet] [/tweet] wtf is going on [tweet] [/tweet]
  11. i do agree that that wrigley monstrosity looks awful. not sure anyone disagrees.

  14. nah pizza hut is vile. and i'm generally on team "you can't screw up pizza"
  15. Are you actually disgusted by this food or do you just reject it because it's "unhealthy?" The latter, I completely understand...the former, I don't. I get eating healthy and I do it mostly, but I've always refused to believe that people actually have a preference for eating healthy crap.
  16. Despite the White Sox apparently leaking out that he's ill, Morosi says no [tweet] [/tweet]
  17. I was talking about the pizza dogs but i'd probably try that spaghetti pizza too.
  18. That looks horsefeathering delicious. Also I'm not a fat guy.
  19. after how annoyed we all were by the sox fans and others mentioning the sox in the same breath as the cubs early this season, isn't the best schadenfreude ever seeing them start out blisteringly hot for a solid month and then collapsing to the point that they're selling off sale?
  20. Davies is right handed and doesn't have reverse splits, so Baez is super nothing.
  21. i don't think anybody has said anyone is crazy for not being huge on spaghetti. and it's definitely miles behind lasagna. i just think it's weird to think basic noodles are "gross."
  22. And unless you think Cooper and Sale were on a propaganda campaign back as far as Sox Fest to explain away what he knew would be an unintended forthcoming drop in K's, there's a decent likelihood that he can go back to pitching the way he used to if our people think that's better (though pitching to weak contact isn't the worst idea with our defense - as we've seen). Not that I think there's any chance in hell we'll get him. I'm just not all that scared by the change in his peripherals given what was explicitly laid out before the season by he and his pitching coach.
  23. I get what he's saying and it would be true for lots of front offices. Fortunately our front office isn't stupid enough to let a vague feeling of urgency blind them to the fact that there's an 80% chance we're not winning the world series this year.
