  1. iirc TT will not be pleased
  2. Not sure what they are thinking. Everyone knows they don’t need him and he didn’t show well toward the end. Not sure what leverage they have. it's boob. that option is as good as not picked up.
  3. for me, that one comes to mind, the fumble return at the falcons in his second year (although all he really did was pick it up and run), and just him chasing vick around in that freezing cold 2005 game when rex took over at halftime. one that also always comes to mind but wasn't that big of a deal was his TD catch when he lined up at TE... i think that was against the redskins in 01? FG fake I think. That might be one of my most favorable Lach moments which is kinda weird. that sounds right
  4. yes, this is that game. WP died on Nov 1, 6 days prior Bryan Robinson with the blocked punt? field goal
  5. Definitely hard to come up with good moments from a 1st ballot HOF LB, 4-time all pro, 2x DPOTY, who led his team to a Superbowl. Signature moments. Let's hear em. lol you gotta be [expletive] me. you're doubling down?
  6. he's an horsefeathers, to be sure, but this is still weird. The Denny Green AZ game, where he stole the ball from the RB and Tillman took it for a TD. I think that pretty much drove poor Denny insane and the resulting press conference after the game is legendary. That's the one I really remember. for me, that one comes to mind, the fumble return at the falcons in his second year (although all he really did was pick it up and run), and just him chasing vick around in that freezing cold 2005 game when rex took over at halftime. one that also always comes to mind but wasn't that big of a deal was his TD catch when he lined up at TE... i think that was against the redskins in 01?

  8. Hmm I don't remember the blocked FG in 2010. I remember the Bears forced a late fumble to secure the win. You may be thinking of 2008 when it was like 3 degrees out and the Bears needed a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Bears blocked a FG very late to win that one, but of course they lost the next week to miss the playoffs. How about the 2007 win where the 5-9 Bears pulverized the 12-2 Packers https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200712230chi.htm i was at that 2010 game. i do remember a bunch of flags and i remember a hester punt return for a TD...i think he hurdled a guy.
  9. 2018 SNF week 1 still kills me that first half was some of the most fun i've had watching a regular season game. mack was an absolute maniac. shiny new nagy offense looking decent. knocked out rodgers. i still don't really comprehend the fact that they lost that game lol.
  10. All I've got are those final Favre years vs. Lovie, a home MNF win in like 2010, the Thanksgiving game that one year (2015?), and that 2018 home win. I'm sure I missed one in there somewhere (maybe?) Didn't a Bears team go up to GB on Christmas night one year? Maybe 2005 and win? that was part of those final favre years vs lovie. beat them twice in 05, shut them out to open 06 (lost meaningless final game in 06 when rex said it was NYE) somehow beat them twice in 07 too...one of those was that griese game where he said the headset cut out and he called his own plays.
  11. That's one of the benefits of being old, I legit remember when the Bears dominated this rivalry. All I've got are those final Favre years vs. Lovie, a home MNF win in like 2010, the Thanksgiving game that one year (2015?), and that 2018 home win. I'm sure I missed one in there somewhere (maybe?)
  12. i gotta think the bears are getting flexed in here
  13. Hoyer sounds a lot like our old pal Jim Hendry. I'm waiting for the, "compete within the division" quote. I believe that was a directive from Andy MacPhail (changed spelling of his name to illustrate my dislike) lmfao omg there's still a filter and i vaguely remember it
  14. you basically just described the trestman era, esp 2013.
  15. i mean it's been 4 full seasons granted i can't blame you for not watching enough to get used to it
  16. i guess the bulls are bringing back home whites. tradition yadda yadda. i don't care that much but when they made the switch it made sense to wear their better looking (red) jerseys at home like every other sport does.
  17. i think it's more likely than not that they'll be playing at some insane mega stadium in arlington heights in the 5-10 year range
  18. so did dan orlovsky in that clip the other day (i posted it in the week 2 thread but ill post here) and this
  19. you're crazy thinking those 2 above Briggs. I'd say Hester, Briggs, Kruetz, Tillman in that order Really? I think opposite order after Hester. Hester, Tillman, Kruetz, Briggs. I don't think the latter 2 really belong. Both are pretty close, IMO, but I don't think quite uniquely good enough for HOF worthiness. Tillman's case will be really helped by the fact that his name is heard every week whenever someone knocks out a fumble. Hester is the pure definition of uniquely good. He should be 1st ballot, IMO. Yeah, to me, those two are hall of very good guys. And that's not to say that I think the HOF should be that exclusive. I'm just going off of how it is.
  20. Huh? You think the OL was good yesterday? I think the Browns D is going to pose a much bigger challenge than the Bengals. pff does *shrug*
  21. He does have connections and at the very least is buddies with Adam Jahns. He also ridiculously seemed to think Nagy was going to sit Fields all year like a week or two ago.
