I didn't move to Canada until the late '80s and am not a hockey fan at all but I've had friends tell me that for much of '80s you were not allowed to draft Gretzky at all in most fantasy leagues because his stats so far surpassed everyone else. Not sure if that rings true for anyone who was in a league during that time. They had fantasy leagues in the 80s? Anyways my middle school gym teacher said once Gretsky is like if an MLB player hit 100 homeruns in a season. That's always stuck with me even if I don't know that's is accurate per se. people were doing fantasy leagues as far back as the 60s or 70s

The Bears spoke to Harbaugh and he wanted $100M and they balked. And I don't blame them lol Was that reported anywhere? $100 mil is the going rate for stud coaches. If the Bears would have hired Harbaugh for less money, they should get out of ownership. You just can’t suck for as long as they have without hitting a home run. He's not that good lol

I would say Gretzky had the best career of any athlete in team sports. But Brady's is the most impressive considering football is the most team driven of the team sports and he proved last year that he's the biggest needle mover in the game's history. to be fair, you could have placed just about any of the names you think of as all time great QBs into that situation and they could have pulled it off. it's still impressive as hell that it actually happened, though. Kind of an exclamation point on his career.

JJ Stankevitz (Colts writer) is on the Score right now and talked about the biggest thing about Ehberflus is adaptability, and that he does really scheme to the strengths/weaknesses of the opponent rather than just having a set "this is what we do" approach (he was kind of talking about it in the same way we were discussing how the Patriots will do this back when McDaniels was a conversation still).

Do we know if Joe Brady is even good? How much of his success at LSU was due to Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, CEH, etc being really good? He couldn't last a year as an NFL OC and while you can argue he shouldn't have been fired, he didn't really do anything to elevate Sam Darnold there. Granted, Sam Darnold is terrible. yeah i don't really take much from his firing and ruhle is an idiot and, like you said, darnold sucks, so... who knows Also, I know Hub Arkush would be strongly against a Joe Brady hiring (he totally shot it down when Danny Parkins suggested it a few weeks ago on air) so that's another plus.
