  2. That's a pretty serious injury... you want that at 36? That's basically going to be a red shirt for him, right? No way I'd use a 2nd round pick on a db with a torn Achilles
  3. mullens already got the wrecking ball tho right?
  4. Darius Butler is visiting with the Bears
  5. They are mostly terrible. so the dugout was on bar rescue and apparently it was a disaster lmao http://www.chicagotribune.com/dining/ct-bar-rescue-tv-makeover-wrigleyville-dugout-nightmare-story.html i'm pretty sure both the show and this place/the owner suck, so this is no surprise. can't say i feel bad for the owner for signing them up for this when it's obvious what happens. there's plenty of stuff online about the aftermath of plenty of their places too. also, RIP baccis
  6. i'm thinking you mean game 4? i was at that one and it sucked so bad. no, game 3 was way worse imo. really? i was pretty drunk watching most of it at a bar, but at least there was a chance to walk it off at the end. game 4 was way worse IMO. when you're on the verge of falling behind 3-1, you cant just brush it off even if it is a blowout. it was sad as horsefeathers.
  7. hahaha, that might be the worst cubs game of my lifetime. what was the atmosphere like for that? i'm thinking you mean game 4? i was at that one and it sucked so bad.
  8. Zach Miller says he'll easily be ready by training camp, if not OTAs.
  9. Didn't you go to the Harden debut game where Theriot threw the ball into the OF in the 9th? I'd say that counts enough to be memorable, if so.
  10. can you narrow down the range beyond "before 2010?"
  11. To help make us feel better? not even. it would warrant discussion either way. who fires their GM the first day of free agency? lmao apparently he is the only guy in the org that their franchise qb, who they seem to be doing everything possible to alienate, even liked too (there's also no NFL general offseason thread that i'm aware of so i figured i'd bring it up here since this thread was moving) i can't say that i know mike mayock would be a bad GM, but that part is still pretty funny too
  12. have we talked about how spectacular of a train wreck the redskins are?
  13. that sunday was the last time the cubs were tied with st louis in the division they proceeded to lose a bunch of games in a row, but i think they didn't get truly buried until like july
  14. He was hurt quite a bit last year. The games he played I saw a lot of criticism, but I wasn't watching closely enough to know if it was warranted or not. His release is probably the biggest bit of caution. The release only saved the team 2.5 million against the cap, while the Colts have plenty of money and don't exactly have a deep CB group. And their new GM is unproven but well respected. Teams make mistakes all the time and he still could be good, but those are not good signs. thanks. i was thinking it might be another opportunity to jump on a good player like with freeman last year and later sitton.
  15. 100% overlap nice haha
  16. No interest in Robinson?
  17. I can't find his PFF grades for 2016, but it doesn't look like he was in need of a rebound going in based on this https://www.profootballfocus.com/colts-upgrade-at-cornerback-with-addition-of-patrick-robinson/
  18. [tweet] [/tweet]woah...is this a reflection of how that labrum is doing? [tweet] [/tweet] :-k
  19. that game was so great.
  20. we have some overlap haha your 98 brewers game was cooler even if it wasn't 61 and 62.
  21. I glossed over 2009-2014 and forgot that I was also at Rizzo's debut against the Mets.
  22. I have no idea when it was, but I think it might've been 1996. Mike Perez signed my Cubs Quarterly magazine and Turk Wendell tossed me some gum. If I wasn't already in for life, I was after that.
  23. so was everybody, amirite? jk, but yeah i was at school. i remember coming home and having my dad flip on the tv for literally the final pitch.
  24. well, he grades out at 81, which is above average. Good signing considering what's left. Him and Lattimore (not saying I'm committed to that idea) and that secondary looks pretty damn solid all of a sudden as long as Demps doesn't completely fall off a cliff. Fuller might still be a competent guy in that mix as well.
