    To be honest it's probably more of a 'I'm going to buy this the first day I can' v. 'I'll buy it when I'm low on books to read'. Going to the top of the list for sure. i successfully waited for "the only rule is it has to work" to go on sale on kindle for like $2 or something after i saw that happen with passan's book last year (which i didn't get)...it took months tho. i might not be willing to do that with this one.

    Yep. We are now just looking for the Jason Heyward that hit .275 or so with 15-18 homers and made everybody say, "Wow, this guy could be a monster, hitting 30-some homers, if his swing wasn't so ugly." I suppose we can give up on the hope of him ever figuring it all out and being an absolute monster. But, maybe, just maybe he doesn't have to be completely horrendous. Pretty please. i mean if by absolute monster you mean mike trout, yeah...because he's pretty horsefeathering good as it is being the guy he was before last year (especially - and obviously - if he can channel 2012 like they're trying).

    No way I'd use a 2nd round pick on a db with a torn Achilles I'd consider him in the third round (again, I like him more than mock drafts seem to), especially if this type of timeline is realistic: [tweet] [/tweet] I could be talked into a 3rd if that's what the timeline looks like. I could be completely wrong, but seems extremely aggressive and unrealistic...maybe something his agent is leaking out to salvage some of his draft stock?
