Why didn't Monty or someone from AAA get a spot start then? With how much they are tying to manage pitcher rest/innings, that would seem to make sense. I don't think the dead arm thing is a rest issue. You just pitch through it until it goes away. I'm fact, might be a result of the way they've managed them since most pitchers seem to go through it in spring training
