That wasn't the full mic drop moment it sounds like...the host was the one who asked him why he won't flip a bat, and he said he is scared to look stupid doing it on a fly out, then Goff or Bernstein (can't remember for sure) was like "what about when you hit it halfway up the video board?" and that was his reply. so it was basically his attempt to still be vanilla goody goody KB.

    Eh, I love Willson but if we have him through his age 30 season I'd be fine riding it out year by year. Knowing there's a 0 chance on Bryant to extend the only guy I'd really like to see an extension for is Russell. Everyone else I'm fine with letting it ride for various reasons. Addy is gonna be just as difficult to extend as KB for the same reason I don't disagree, but devil's advocate - KB has had much more success and has much better traditional stats (this is what matters when it comes to getting raises in arb) and has also already banked $9M from baseball alone, while Russell is "only" at $4.3M in career earnings.

    UZR still doesn't love Almora's defense in CF...but it's still not a ton of innings. 2016 in 193.0 innings they had him at 0.7 UZR/150 2017 in 74 innings he's at -2.3 Then they put his total at 4.7 UZR/150 for the 267 innings...no clue how that works or if there's some sort of glitch. He's got obscenely positive ratings in the corners

    Ohio State cornerback Gareon Conley has been accused of rape by a woman who met him in a Cleveland hotel, according to TMZ. Conley, meanwhile, adamantly denies the allegations. The woman alleges that Conley invited her to partake in a foursome. She declined and instead offered to watch the other three people have sex. Conley, she alleges, forced her to go from spectator to participant and had sex with her against her will. The woman went to the hospital for a rape kit, but refused to speak with police afterward. Two of Conley’s friends were interviewed by police and they said that Conley never had intercourse with the woman. According to them, the woman was looking for revenge after being asked to leave the hotel room. Meanwhile, Conley’s attorney told Cleveland19 that the accusations against him are “ludicrous and ridiculous.”

    I remember in the NLDS in 2015 how uncomfortable I was when he'd come up to bat against us. I'm hoping he's doing that a bit to other teams fans now. eh he didn't really worry me that much at that stage as far as thinking he'd go up and crush you with a dong or xbh however i think we might be seeing the return of 2012 heyward now
