You thought people would be interested in hearing Gruden talk? I think the Gruden QB camp stuff is fun and good. Just obviously have to adjust for hyperbolic praise. I like Gruden in general but dislike how he does MNF.

Despite what you may have heard on Mad Dog and Maggie, this QB crop is good, and deep. Trubisky will be bad. Bet on it. Couldn't beat out Marquise Williams at UNC. Looks great in shorts and a t-shirt, but this is a joke of a pick Oh, ok. I'm gonna take derwood's opinion on anything lol

Wut? He got the best QB in the draft, a dude with a super quick release, who doesn't throw interceptions and can run. Not happy what they gave up, but i can only think SF held them hostage. This Is my barely informed opinion. I like trubisky and prefer this over Watson at 3, but I hate the trade

Nobody has stolen a base off Lester since Opening Night. Base runners have been successful on 2 of 6 attempts on the year against him. That's some serious doom bonery. Not sure if I should've posted this here or in the Sports Media thread, but I happened to have Mully and Hanley on today when they brought on Gordo, and it was hilariously negative. Hanley was doom bonering over people stealing bases all year on Lester (which, to be fair, Gordo shot down) and was talking about how they lost last night because of lack of "clutch hitting" (which, well, FINE, whatever, if you want to say that about a game they scored 5 runs in, that's probably the game). It was just hilariously bizarre to me about a team coming off like 6 wins in their last 8 games and that has lost one series all year.

Wondering the same thing. I can't imagine it'd just be dropped off MLBN, but we'll see. I know people hate that show but I actually like Rose and Millar. I don't expect anything insightful, just fun player interviews and Millar being an idiot. They aren't hot take artists so they don't bother me in their dumbness.

they played in like 2011 at fenway too i'm pretty sure i remember kenney and the ricketts all going and scouting ideas for the renovations (also probably doing some recon on theo) and boston played at wrigley in the first year or two of the rebuild...remember seeing the FO guys hanging out with pedroia, ortiz, and others in BP.

He seems entirely adequate out there Yeah, I mean, he's not going to catch anything especially difficult and he will look bad at times due to his build/lacking athleticism, but it's not like i cringe when the ball is hit to left. i expect him to catch what he should and surprise us with some that he shouldn't here and there. -

So far he has a positive UZR/150 in LF (0.7) in 154 innings For his career he's a light negative as an outfielder at -1.9 in 471.1 innings -
