    god i hope theo sticks around forever like scheurholtz or cashman style i know he mentioned that bill walsh quote about 10 years, but i'm pretty sure that was just a convenient line to drop in to his speech when he was getting the horsefeathers out of dodge in boston.

    it's so weird to me that the cubs are now one of those teams where you kinda think about how often they do these champagne celebrations and you wonder if they're even as cool anymore they're always cool as horsefeathers, mind you...we've just had, uh, lots of them

    My guess was it was a somewhat recent diagnosis and that going forward he'd be less affected by it as he learns to cope/gets used to it. But I don't know anything about the story.

    #1 in batting average is nuts considering how poorly several of the players have hit except they obviously haven't or they wouldn't be #1 in batting average i'm gonna guess that the worst guy regularly getting ABs in the second half is around .250, without looking

    i mean, NOLA, birdman has a song about it I googled birdman, and for a minute I thought a musical number in the movie Birdman that I'd forgotten. But there's a rapper named Birdman? yes and he is from new orleans, louisiana
