i'm at the point where i hate fox so much that even if trubisky was the real truth and had one of those rookie phenom years and took us to the playoffs after a 1-3 start, a small part of me would still resent that it means we have to keep fox around.

Yea it's pretty astonishing. I am going to go with the mentally weak theory and this whole QB at no 2 thing irrevocably horsefeathers him up. We'll cut him in the off-season and he'll go onto have an illustrious backup career where he doesn't feel any pressure and actually serves that steady stop gap type play. That's pretty much the impression I have.

Really wish this could be on Sunday instead. I want to be excited about Mitch and watch that game live, but I'm not gonna watch it over a Cubs (potential elimination either way) playoff game.

There's a halfway decent chance he starts next Monday night. And whenever he does start, Bears fans will flock to the stadium and the TV. But it will only take 2-3 disappointing games for all hope to be lost. How the hell did I not notice this post? I even had read past it.
