You said he keeps rolling it out, which is why I was curious if he had actually done this again, or if you just didn't realize that Mal Engstrom is the same girl that Brian was referring to being friends with his cousin. He's referring to the phrasing. I get that. I didn't even like typing it, but it was a lazy direct reference to Brian's post.

    I believe that's supposed to say "network's end users" To me it reads much more like there should be a comma after networks...but reporting that wouldn't make much sense. If networks is supposed to have an apostrophe, that sentence is an even bigger disaster lol Either way, I'm leaning strongly toward that Tweet just being about the new nbc network

    Every game is elimination football in the playoffs though lol. yes but fewer rounds of elimination are by definition better than more of them it would make a substantial difference to our championship odds i mean i know you know this so i'm just trying to figure out what the hell you meant by that lol

    I know they will. I don't know if that's the right approach, but I expect it. Apparently if the bye is in play they could move the Bears back to coincide with the Rams game? In that case, you might get, at best case a halftime adjustment to strategy if either game is out of hand, but you obviously can't change your active roster at that point. i'd say it's def the right play. football is weird. your superbowl odds increase by skipping a round of the playoff gauntlet + a little bit of added benefit of getting to potentially play the rams at home if you run into them outweighs the risk of a serious injury to a key player (injury that he wouldn't entirely or mostly recover from in time for the divisional round) in trying to win those two games, IMO...even if it does hinge on football being weird enough for the rams to lose to an inferior opponent the next two weeks.

    at best it's a "you suck at saying things" gotcha, which is pretty low hanging fruit among gotchas, IMO

    nah it is poorly worded/punctuated, but it still wasn't a gotcha it said it's highly unlikely he won't go to the cubs then there's no way he won't go to the dodgers. i'm pretty sure the guy who, less than 24 hours before, basically said he thinks there's no way he's not going to the dodgers, meant to refer to the actual going to the cubs part as being highly unlikely.

    his post says it’s highly unlikely he doesn’t go to the cubs. at its best, it’s a poorly worded sentence. From the Ding Dong Files: The last time David was wrong was.........holy horsefeathers, this is the first time. nah it is poorly worded/punctuated, but it still wasn't a gotcha
