i agree with you 100%, but on the other hand, me and my girlfriend probably reference your "ATTA BOY JIMMAY, WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" call at least 5 times a week. i know you were honoring brickhouse, but that call is probably my favorite call in cubs history. Couldn't agree more. I know that that call could probably not be replicated, but it gives me goosebumps nonetheless. When I was like 10, some schmuck from my hometown's local newspaper wrote an article about why Harry Carrey should be "put out to pasture". I wrote a response arguing it's absurdity and it got published a few days later. While there's only one Harry, Len and Bob are just about as much as I could ever ask for. As an mlb.tv customer, I've come to appreciate them even more over the majority of non-professional hacks that seem voice the other 29 teams. I know this sounds like a "suck-up" post, but honestly, you guys are the best in the business as far as I'm concerned. That I definitely agree with. I cant stand most announcers from other teams, and the Cubs seem to have found the best duo out there. I was one of the people who was rooting hard for Pat Hughes and Ron Santo to move to the TV booth when Chip and Steve left town, and though I still looooove Pat as a broadcaster, I have to say that I'm very happy. And my post about the home run calls... I wasn't saying that I want some lame ass "you can put it on the board" type of crap, it just always struck me as odd how on a no doubt shot Len seemed to not know whether it was gonna go or not. Now that I see the explanation though, it makes much more sense.

I love Len and Bob in the booth. Joy to listen to. But since he did say that he likes both positive and negative feedback...Len's homerun call could use some work, and Bob needs to stop with the random swipes toward Soriano. Other than that though, I hope they're around in the Cub's booth for a long, long time.
